So I was feeling like getting out of the house and decided to brave a farmers market on the other side of the city on a Saturday. I hopped in the car and drive 45 min to the market, spent over an hour grocery shopping, got to check out only to find out…duh duh duh… I left my money in another bag I used to hike a few days ago. I asked them to please put the groceries to the side so I could drive home and come back for them. Drove all the way home then all the way back and of course by the time I come back, they have put away my groceries. I ended up spending another hour regathering everything then driving home. Lesson to all, always triple check to make sure you have money before driving that far for groceries.

Wife and I are gifting the in-laws a trip to Phuket (along with us) for 4 nights. Staying at the intercon Kamala beach Hoping the fantastic people here can recommend: 1. Some not so strenuous touristy things to do. Since we are with seniors not looking into jet skis etc. I’ve read about old town and the Sunday markets, they seem nice.

1. Best way to get around ? Was thinking of booking a car and driver, would anyone know the approximate cost ?
   
2. I know it’s a short time, but I was hoping to connect with a tattoo artist, if anyone has used someone and can recommend (would love a ballpark cost!)

Hey everyone, question from a complete novice.
I have a 1999 Rav4 I inherited from a family member who had owned it since 1999. I don't think she was big on maintenence, and I haven't taken that very seriously in the few years I've had it. I typically only need it for short distance trips.
The oil light came on recently and I checked the dipstick. Sure enough I was low on oil so I quickly filled it with oil we had at home. Even with a full tank the light was still on and I realized I put in the wrong viscosity, 10w-30 when it takes 5w-30. I did an oil change and replaced the 10w for the 5w and got a new drain plug. I haven't changed the filter yet. That was at 99,657 miles.
I drove for a few minutes and no oil light was on. Then I fully stopped at a sign and saw the oil light flicker then become solid, which hadn't happened any other time I fully stopped in the trip up to that point. This continued to happen, then it would flicker and become solid just when I began braking, then when I just lightened up on the accelerator, and then even when I was full on accelerating and at all the previously mentioned states. Sometimes it would go from solid to flickering to solid without me changing acceleration.
I've taken the car out since and the same pattern repeats. Nothing for a few minutes, then the oil light when I stop, and so on. No leaks from the drain plug or the oil pan, no puddles or drips anywhere. I checked the dipstick and it's perfectly filled, no noticeable change in oil levels. I don't hear any concerning sounds, no metal grinding or bangs.
I'm going to get it looked at, but I'm curious if there's any insight into what the issue could be before I do. If it's likely a faulty sensor or something more serious. I also have an issue with the EGR system, I need to change the VSV but I haven't heard of the EGR and oil systems having much to do with each other.

First-time traveler to Taiwan. Arriving in the summer and put this tentative itinerary together. And would love people's thoughts. Also, after Taipei and Jiufen, my plan is to rent a car for the duration of the month.
Too much for one month? Spend more/less days somewhere? Cut something out entirely? Way too hot for hiking in June? Eliminate a trail or two and spend it in a city, or vice versa?
For example, if it's a better idea, I'd be willing to forgo a stop in Miaoli and go straight from hiking Wuliaojian to Taichung lodging. Another example is skipping the Yushan Mountain hike altogether. A third example is skipping the stay between Kaohsiung and Taroko.

Dodge has just unveiled the quickest production car in the WORLD! Say hello to the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170.
This muscle car runs on 170-proof E85 ethanol that enables it to deliver an insane 1,025 horsepower and 945 pound-feet of torque, but that's all from an almost new 6.2-liter iron block HEMI V-8 that comes with a modified 3.0-liter-supercharger-that shares lot of its DNA with the Hellephant crate engine.
With the full potential of the engine unlocked, on a prepped surface, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 sprints from 0-60 mph in just 1.66 seconds, and can crush the quarter-mile in 8.9 seconds at 151 mph.
Of course, all of that power needs a lot of strengthening in the driveline so the Demon 170 won't eat itself up. With that in mind, the eight-speed automatic has been beefed up, while the rear prop shaft is 30% stronger thanks to a thicker tube diameter and larger CV joints.
Dodge plans to make 3,300 of them – 3,000 for the United States and 300 for Canada. However, the final number will depend on production capacity because the company will only make them from July to December 31, 2023.
Dodge will begin taking orders on March 27, 2023. The company will prioritize orders that dealers make at MSRP in an effort to deter markups.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 will be available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $96,666 (excluding destination and fees).

Allow the long story, my mind been all over the place
So I got stoned with my gf and we started watching Battlebots on Netflix. I told her a story about me getting my first ps2 for Christmas, can't remember the exact year but I got a battlebots game with it(it was called something else back then around 2005-2007), but was too stupid to play it so I went to GameStation in the UK to exchange it. And she asked "What do you mean exchange it?" and I told her how back in the day you could go to the shop and exchange a disc, GameStation Also was cheap and had great deals where you could get 4 Decent tier games for 20 quid or 5 Lower hype games for 20. Similar brick and mortar shop to gamestop, which I believe is the only living famous chain game shop. Couple years forward GAME UK took over GameStation and it was never the same cause they were more expensive and bigger dick heads with exchanging games gaving really low price when trading in. Once bought it had to be traded in, instantly losing value. And then she asked if there are still movie rental shops and I said nope because blockbuster was kinda ruined by netflix and streaming services which is actually joining powers with gme most likely.
Anyways, fast forward cause I was in depth explaining about shorts, the bad guys and us the good guys. And she said "yeah but not everyone of you has good intentions". "Probably not but a large amount of us really want to help the les fortunate, save the nature and are just good people in general, there's always good and evil" and continued with what Gamestop is doing with the meta verse for the millionth time. How the GME verse will allow us go to a shop in vr, buy our avatar a painting for a house and also get a physical copy, buy shoes, cars, and get physicals too etc. And then she asked "But you won't be able to feel physically being there.
And then I had a 2 minute thought and got a "shiiiiiiiiieeeet" moment.
I said who knows, for now it's probably gonna be in a vr headset cause we're not that technologically advanced. And she asked me "so you believe in like this sci-fi world living in a computer sort of thing?" And I replied "not really like that, but look how advanced we keep Getting. I think it'll be more like you leave the house normally and have CGI shops that you could see virtually outside and you could just buy stuff from, and we could maybe access this with just our brains. And then I was saying that we have so many different groups of people in this world specialising in different things. Like people who make automatic cookers, they already have solid foundation that they'll keep developing until with a press of a button we will be able to pull out a hot plate of food every day, how you'd have laundry done with fresh clothes every morning automatically and everyone will contribute to a great future. Then I thought who would make the CGI possible, since now we're are developing a VR headsets multiverses but would need to automatically be able to trigger stuff with our brains...??? Who? Who could make that possible in the future? Edon Mask(hopefully not redacted) with his neurological linkage. Maybe he's not bad overall since he already had beef with the ESSissy.
Overall, I believe hedgies and richies run their monopoly in keeping themselves in power, doing crime and getting away with it, controlling the less fortunate, destroying our world. Thoughout history, every disaster, allowed us humans to advance, we always rebuilt the world stronger. Now life is been getting shitter and shitter each year. The disaster has been feeding and will make the world change. We will be the ones who will rebuilding the world to be a better, more advanced and healthy place!
