Grand Theft Auto V is still going strong nearly eight years after it first debuted on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (remember those?), followed by a slightly newer re-release on Windows PCs and the the PS4 and Xbox One. To date, publisher Take-Two Interactive has sold over 150 million copies of GTA V on various platforms.
The publisher revealed the impressive sales stat as part of its earnings report for its fiscal first quarter of 2022. Looking at the data from the previous quarter, it means T2 sold an additional 5 million copies in the past three months. Not too shabby, given that GTA V is far from a new game at this point. That is not the end of it, either.
T2 plans to launch an "expanded and enhanced version" for the latest generation game consoles, those being the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, on November 11, 2021. Developer Rockstar Games had previously said the updated version will bring "new features and more" to the table, but the details are still largely a mystery.
"The new generation versions of GTAV will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever," Rockstar Games said last year.
We presume the retooled version of GTA V will tap into the fast storage capabilities of modern consoles, to drastically reduce game load times. It will also leverage the newer hardware in the latest gen consoles, namely the custom SoC based on AMD's Zen 2 CPU cores and RDNA 2 graphics.

The latest number in europe for february is a decline of 28% and for the year all over the world year 2022 a decline of 21%. Switch is predicticted to still sell 18 millions units for the fiscal year though. At what point is it enough for Nintendo? When they sell under 15, 12 or 10 million per year. Or what other factors would contribute to wanting to release a new console. Such as problem to develop for an old an honestly very weak console, a new mario 3d game ready or the will to stop playstation 5s current dominace.

Hello to whomever is reading this! I've just bought this laptop a couple of months ago (October 2022) and it all seemed perfectly fine. I could play pretty much any game on the highest graphics, use UE5 without any lagging issues, no bugs of any kind (despite one lone bug, but that's for later, though), etc. An incredibly great laptop for its price (cost me $2500), basically.
But... recently, literally yesterday, I've been issuing the black screen thingy. Also sorry for such a big essay here, but I gotta provide all the possible details. Thanks.
For some context here: the laptop is, again, not even an year old, I don't think that any liquids / items / whatever could've possibly entered and damaged the laptop (on that later, though), I've got a bios update this week (turned my laptop on someday this week, it entered the bios menu instantly, asked me to confirm if I want it to update, confirmed it, it updated it and rebooted; no idea what the version of the update is, though, but anyways) and I've also got the Nvidia graphics card update (pretty sure its version is 531.41; the one that got released on March 23rd, 2023).
Note: the Asus logo isn't appearing when I boot it up, but they laptop keyboard kinda flashes, though + the lightbulb indicator is lit AND the battery indicator is lit (whenever the adopter is plugged, obviously (white when fully charged and red when not, so, yeah, functions fine, I guess? I can't charge my phone with the laptop, though. My phone says that it's charging, but no percentage is being added, so, yeah, that's interesting???); the mouse cursor isn't appearing; the fans are blowing really quite, but they still are blowing, just a little; I can't hear any sounds (unsure if it's in need to say this, but I've disabled the Asus logo sound in the Armoury Crate application); I haven't tried any usb solutions, because I don't have one right now; I haven't tried digging through the laptop (opening it and doing stuff there), since, at least in my country, it'll void the warranty of the laptop (I'm gonna go to the repair service center thing next week, though, if this post won't help me).
List of the things that I've tried (multiple times) to POSSIBLE fix the issue: 1. Rebooting my laptop (holding the power button for 5, 20, 40 and even 60 seconds when booting it up AND shutting it up + with everything plugged in (the power adoptor thingy, mic, mouse and external keyboard (none of which had lit up at all, even though they normally do???)) AND without any of them; 2. Connecting the laptop to an external monitor (no signal); 3. Literally every F(1-12)+ANY BUTTON combination that could do anything helpful at all (not working); 4. Booting up into safe mode / bios / windows repair mode (none of which had worked, at all (or I just can't see them, idk; I did follow some blindfold instructions for the bios reset solution, though (f2 (also tried the delete button one) spam / hold / press when booting up after 40 sec shutdown button hold + right arrow (x4) + down arrow (x4) + enter (x2) + up arrow (x4) + enter (x2)), but that didn't work, too); 5. Letting my laptop rest for a day with everything unplugged + everything plugged in (yesterday and tomorrow; didn't seem to work).
About the one and only issue I've been (am) constantly having with this laptop: sometimes, whenever I shut it down for a long time (like 10 hours or something) and then boot it up again, some drivers go bye-bye (usually both the wifi one and the bluetooth one). The only working fix for me is this: I unplug the power adoptor, shut it down (hold for 40 secs), then wait a few minutes and boot it up. That (99% of the time) fixes the issue, but the point of that fact is that it MIGHT be connected to what I'm issuing right now. I'd also like to note the fact that, usually (or ever at some point), I don't close the laptop's lid down after shutting it down, but the black screen issue could've possible came due to that, because the day before the accident, I did, indeed, close the lid down.
About the (possible?) liquid situation: there may or may not be some liquid in the laptop due to my stupid ass dropping a glass of apple-grape juice (two days prior to this very post here AND a few (like, either instantly or 10+ hours later: not sure if it happened right when I shut it down and went to sleep OR when I returned and booted it up) hours before the black screen accident) on my external keyboard (which works fine, btw, no problem at all (just a few sticky keys had occured afterwards, but I cleaned those and everything seems to be fine)), which is approximately 8cm in length, SO, basically, the glass of that juice was like 10cm away from the laptop = the external keyboard have gotten more liquid into it, not the laptop, yet a bit of juice had slipped onto the laptop, BUT just a bit AND I cleaned both the external keyboard AND the laptop AND everything worked just about fine (no flickering lights anywhere, every key responded as usual, a bit sticky and stuff, though, but, you know, still fine, no key had pressed itself due to being severely damaged or, idk, something like that (or, for example, if I was to press 'W', it would think that I pressed 'A' or whatever). BASICALLY, it seems like the liquid is the problem, but, like, it seems all fine, ehhh???????).
I've also dried both the keyboard and the laptop (by putting them into some pose I found on the internet, no hair dryers were used or whatever + used quite a few paper towels and some laptop screen towel thingies, because why not). And then it worked just about fine, until (the juice accident had happened at around 7pm or something like that; I finished fixing (?) it at around 8pm or something like that; I went to sleep at around 6am or something like that) I went to bed, shut down the laptop, closed the lid down. Then, at approximately 1pm, when I woke up and opened it up, the first thing I noticed is that the fans were blowing as if they're insane, the external keyboard and other stuff was lit (they're rgb, forgot to mention that before) and the display was pure black. I tried clicking, pressing buttons, but nothing. Decided to reboot (?) the laptop, but the screen was still black (no asus logo / mouse cursor / anything at all, too) and the fans decided to blow 99% less loud (REALLY quite). Nothing else had changed since all that happened.
Soooo, yeah, that's about it. Any type of help would be GREATLY appreciated! Praying that whatever is broken with the laptop IT'S NOT something that might cost me a lot. Thanks!!!

I opened my PayPal account around 2017 for EBay sales. I didn’t sell a lot, so I thought if it like a extra emergency fund and never deposited it to my actual bank account. Big mistake! I basically stopped logging into the account completely around October 2020 because EBay switched to direct deposit.
Fast forward to today i login to withdraw the money and it’s gone. $0 balance. Upon further research back in September 2022 my account was hacked and the $4k balance was deposited to a bank account that isn’t mine. I had never had a bank on file. They also added an addition phone number and a social security number. I called customer service and filed a report to get my money back. The rep made me feel like this was going to work out in my favor because Paypal covers unauthorized transactions…. within 10 mins I received an email that the claim was denied. I called back and filed an appeal and was told to wait it out.
I don’t know what to do, I’m freaking out! I’m very doubtful the appeal will go in my favor. Can anyone offer any advice on what I should if I don’t win the appeal?!

I’ve got myself like in those ambiance videos; I’ve got myself this like retro 50’s rounded baby blue looking big mini refrigerator and covered in stickers like a diner or Pixar short; so wherever I have it; the sides can’t be up against anything all hidden.
I don’t know how else to explain myself. But I love it with my night showers and I always get my haircut; trims at the end of the day like would as a kid. …and I never wear my hair up.
Again… I don’t know how else to explain myself; but I love it.

The 3 basic parameters of hashtag #Valzubiriagenda:

1. We artists and everyone else can write and self-publish art- and artist-related books: memoirs, biographies, art books and art catalogs. Books are forever. Pamphlets and brochures are not books.
2. We announce a schedule of increasing prices of our art pieces, which includes quantities (scarcity numbers) per price point and overall (the total quantity of art pieces we might ever make). This helps art traders, art investors and art collectors speculate or even stop speculating and instead join a community of investors working together to hopefully skyrocket to the higher announced prices in a shorter span of time.
3. We can use the NFT world, because NFTs provide the tracking (who owns what) and trading.

We can also not be involved with NFTs. Stores and individuals can help sell art using online presence and our catalogs in the stores. If this trends, or once this trends, even expensive art can be sold by neighboring businesses, without exclusivity. Commission systems do not have to be standardized. Art investors can produce their own catalogs to leave at the cafés. Even the cafés can produce their own catalogs.
Valzubiriagenda NFTs
NFTs only came about a few years ago. But I had been working on this since the 1990s. I wrote a book, Valzubiriagenda, along with fellow artist Silverio Perez, and released it in 2018 (Amazon and elsewhere), tackling everything related to #1 & #2. We'll come up with #3 in a later book/ memoi marketing book.
Any artist, including tangible artists can release 10,000 NFTs if the artist chooses to do so. For tangible artists, the NFT first becomes an Art Commission Contract for sight unseen, yet-to-be made art. Once the art is made, the NFT becomes proof of ownership that the actual, tangible art is theirs.
Warehousing our tangible art
Another related idea is that the tangible art may be warehoused by the artist so that the NFT traders continue to trade. This means that even 10-ton 10-foot tall sculptures can be owned and traded by anyone without worrying about shipping, reshipping, scratches, smudges, parts breaking off, etc. The newness of the pieces remain because they are stored by the artist, source, gallery, etc. The art piece gets shipped to the art collector, the ultimate owner.
An artist who makes ceramic coffee mugs - smaller art pieces, can release 10,000 NFTs with a schedule of increasing prices so that NFT traders can trade immediately. The 10,000 coffee mugs can get damaged, so as they are made, they continue to be stored by the artist, until the time when art collectors decide to have the art pieces shipped to them.
Why only now?
I decided to write as many book-length memoirs as I can before I came out to promote this.
I'm an artist and an author. Both need time to "master." I would not even fully use "master" on myself, because there's always something new, even to my own art, my own writing and publishing.

I am now claiming that I'm the visual artist who has produced the most artist memoirs in the world. I have 5 on Amazon. I count Valzubiriagenda as both a marketing book and a memoir-of-sorts, because it has a lot of my own life lessons on writing and publishing. I would not care to contest my claim of having the most memoirs. I will release 5 more over the next 3 years.

BARTER! Get help to write, photograph art and publish your books!
Anyone can hire 11 ghostwriters for 11 memoirs. If you can make art, but you cannot write, then barter your forever art with those who can help you produce forever books.
I don't feel the pressure of writing and publishing because I feel my focus should be on art students and art experts who would study my art and my books 100 years from now. Don't expect relatives and friends to read your books.
I call myself the Dollman
For my NFTs, I am proposing to make dioramas - my original, costumed, bejeweled porcelain dolls in backdrops that will also have precious metals and gemstones. This way I can incorporate precious metals and gemstones in my work, to make sure that people perceive my art as expensive, just in case I myself don't become "famous" - there's no need to get world famous. We are artists and all we need to do is to satisfy the art niche.
Use your laptop now!
I will encourage you to start writing your book-length memoir. Write, Edit and then Self-publish it. Get help. Why wait a hundred years for someone to write about you when all you need is a laptop and a nearby coffee shop.
Don't start counting chickens before the eggs hatch. I have encountered a lot of would-be writers who immediately see themselves as bestselling. world famous assets to society. Two even wanted me to sign NDAs (Nondisclosure agreements), because they did not want me to steal their book ideas.
Here's a suggestion. I would not personally do it. From one manuscript can come 2 books: The Original Draft (unedited, with misspellings, considered to be an art piece, scanned pages(?) of your handwritten original effort), and The Final Edition (edited).
PROVENANCE!
Another way to enhance our investability, tradability and collectability is PROVENANCE - how art ownership proceeds through time. The way this can be done is also through publishing books. Everyone can write their memoirs, biographies, art books and art catalogs, including traders, investors and art collectors. In effect, we artists can continue to be included or mentioned in even more books, without any additional effort by us.
You as an investor, reseller, trader, art collector should be able to publish a catalog with 250 works by 250 different artists, but they need to agree to this right from the start - it's your money, you should require them to follow your version of the hashtag #valzubiriagenda parameters, which preferably should include permission for you to publish their art. Why would you track down 250 artists later?
No exclusive contracts
If you're a café, you can call for artists, and come up with a book with for example, 30 artists, with a chapter devoted to each artist's profile and images of the artist's art.
You can distribute your catalogs to businesses and individuals near and far and online.
The book Valzubiriagenda even cites that funeral homes and janitors closets can sell art, with or without exclusivity. Airline catalogs can include million dollar art pieces. Car manufacturers, showrooms and even car repair shops can sell art as well. Everyone should be able to do this, anywhere in the world, especially not just because of the pandemic, but right now, we are in really bad economies.
What's with the name #Valzubiriagenda
I was into conspiracy theories in 2018, and this term, "The Mandela Effect," was popular. I had read many times that an artist coined the term, but I had to research online, for her name, many times, before remembering it. I'm not good at remembering names. It took me a year and a half to finally tell you that Fiona Broome coined "The Mandela Effect."
I also thought I might have to research trademarks and copyrights just to come up with a generic name. So I decided on "Valzubiriagenda." I was not really sure at first, but I decided to use it as the title for my book (with co-authoartist Silverio Perez) so that there would be no turning back and I can move on.
Am I a FUTURIST?
Someone I recently met this May 2022 just called me a futurist.
In the 1990s, I proposed to a pension fund that they can raise billions of dollars, especially for emergencies, or as needed, or out of desperation, if the pension fund purchases a quantity of art from an artist who not only has a current, reasonable price, but an announced future price that the artist wants to reach.
That future price would obviously be higher than the current price. The art commission contract for multiple art pieces can be taken to the fund's financial lender for a loan. The higher future price can be used for financing purposes.
The pension fund's treasurer, a publicly elected official, said this idea might work, but we had to keep this a secret and discuss this some more, because other pension funds might copy and do this prematurely. This idea had to come from the two of us. The treasurer needed his votes and I needed credentials.
Added into the pot was my idea that I, as the artist, will also write one book-length artist memoir. This was and still is a strong factor, because the leadership and marketing books I had read then mentioned a strong tip. If you want to advance in your field, write a full-length book that is related to the field.
Unfortunately, the elected official, the treasurer of the pension fund, who was also a friend, passed away - he was old and had ailments. At that point in time, I cannot just approach another pension fund treasurer to share this idea with.
I realized I had to write a few memoirs. I needed to set an example for other artists, so I needed to write more than one memoir. Then I felt I should also make ready another book - the how-to of what I'm up to. I wrote Valzubiriagenda, which was a memoir of sorts. I knew how long it would take me to write a book, so I had to make sure I can also consider this book a memoir.
In 2008, I imagined that someone like Bernie Madoff, or a fund like Lehman Brothers, would be desperate enough to use this to save themselves and their companies. I was not ready. I had only written 1 manuscript for a memoir.
In 2012, I released Dollman the Musical, A Memoir of an Artist as a Dollmaker. Once again, I was not ready because writing it depressed me a little, and I knew I had to write more.
In 2014, I released 3 memoirs, and re-released Dollman the Musical. Besides releasing regular books, I released special editions of the 4 books, which had a "Special Secret Insert for Bankers," which explains my ideas of an announced schedule of exponentially increasing prices, to satisfy investors, and the publication of artist memoirs, to satisfy art collectors.
In 2014, I also issued out a press release. Google "Can Billion Dollar Artist Save Investors and World Economy Valentino Zubiri PRWeb August 19 2014" and you will see the press release.
What I did was stake a claim on my ideas. I did not promote my books and the press release. I just wanted them to stay online, like a sleeping giant or a dormant volcano. I even designed 3 of the book covers to look like indie books from the 1980s. I was planting the seeds, thinking they will eventually grow and bear fruit in the future.
In 2015, I was interviewed by Richard Syrett, about one of my memoirs, Hocus Pocus Lately. This book is my memoir with paranormal stories. I could have pursued promoting my paranormal stories, but I wanted to be known first as a visual artist and memoirist, so I allowed myself one interview related to Hocus Pocus Lately. Richard Syrett has(had?) his own syndicated radio show, The Conspiracy Show with Richard Syrett, about the paranormal. He also guest hosts on Coast to Coast AM, another internationally syndicated show about the paranormal.
In 2018, I released Valzubiriagenda (co-authored by artist Silverio Perez, a fellow artist). Finally, this book is "the how-to of what I'm to."
I'm going to end this with some strangeness. In 1986, a lady at a religious gathering went into a trance and left a good number of messages. Supposedly, anyone who got into a trance would have messages, but once the trance was over, the person would not remember what was said.
I was not part of the group, but the lady turned her head to face me. She "foretold" that whatever I would decide to do in the future, it will take time, but it will be the right thing. This is one of my stories in one of my memoirs, Hocus Pocus Lately.
The Tulipmania of 1634-37
I discovered that there was this incident of rare tulips becoming collectible during the Dutch Golden Age. There were tulips so rare and so well-desired that their prices equaled to that of a house. You can read more about this online (Wikipedia) or watch a few YouTube videos about it.
Here is the most useful idea that I gleaned from the Tulipmania. The tulip bulbs remained safe inside nurseries. The traders were carrying the deeds of ownership to the tulip bulbs.
Then NFTs came to the forefront
I started learning PHP, an HTML scripting language, and MySQL, the database that PHP can connect to in the background, in 1999, when there were only 3 books about PHP and MySQL at the bookstores.
By 2014, I was trying to figure out how to make the "ledger," or database that can be used to update ownership and who can be contacted. If we are trading art, then the art ownership should be updated.
Then NFTs came about. This can be used as our ledger. Everyone can immediately trade NFTs of future, yet-to-be made art pieces, especially because it takes time to make tangible art.
NFTs actually went a step ahead, by allowing digital art to be traded.
The only setback with NFTs, in my opinion, is that it still lacks a commission system for resellers and representatives.
For example, if a café wants to represent me, then they can promote me at their café and on their online pages. If I make one piece of art that will be exclusively represented by a gallery, then that commission will be different and more specific. As ownership is transferred, the subsequent owners should be able to reset the commission. We should also have the option of giving commissions to hundreds of representatives at one time with different percentages if need be.
The recent crypto crash
Lately, we have observed that NFTs and cryptocurrencies have been behaving like the stock market and other markets. They have been fluctuating.
I believe that it is time for a trend which discourages fluctuation of prices.
I have also seen YouTube videos where social influencers are encouraging us to be on the lookout for exponentially profitable ventures, because we have all seen this happen with the exponential increase of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Let's see if #Valzubiriagenda trends
We can announce present and future art prices. The galleries won't do this (yet?) because they follow a more traditional approach to the business of art.
We have a choice of using incrementally or exponentially increasing prices. We still reserve the right to change things in the future, so everyone should know to follow the latest update.
If this trends, if you as an artist simply announces that you will write an artist memoir, or that you will include the future works in future art books, you might have more art traders, investors and collectors approaching you.
Get your pen, paper and calculator
Imagine yourself as an artist, where you are right now. Let's just say you still do not have a book about yourself and your art yet. Imagine now that you have a memoir out there. Don't you think it makes sense to charge more than what you are charging now? Writing and publishing books is just the beginning. I'm just standardizing this approach. The books also say to do other related projects. In my case, getting Dollman the Musical onstage is one idea. You will have other related projects, but the publication of memoirs, biographies, art books and art catalogs will help all of us.
You can also imagine that a law firm that has meeting rooms, with someone who wants to form a local #valzubiriagenda group, can have meetings. A local café can do the same. Local photographers for your art, writers, editors, book designers, proofreaders and others can join in.
I suggest have printed books to share. 15 copies of your memoir or art books will be better than an e-reader or laptop or your phone to show. These gadgets can be stolen, sabotaged, broken, have coffee spilled on them, etc. 15 printed books means simultaneously showing to 15 people. You can even give them away to potential resellers, investors, traders and collectors.
When it rains, it pours, as in the days of Noah
There's a saying, "When it rains, it pours." There is a negative interpretation and a positive interpretation.
Negative: When trouble comes, they cascade to even more.
Positive: When opportunity comes knocking, more follow suit. We can assume that if one gets our art because of #valzubiriagenda, more want to do it now, because of the rising prices, and FOMO - fear of missing out. What will they lose if they miss the boat?
As I have said earlier, if the #valzubiriagenda trends, if you announce a future memoir or art catalog, you might have an increase of investors, traders and art collectors who would want to check you out. You might encourage more sales. Just remember to write and publish that memoir and art catalog.
There's this saying, "As in the days of Noah." Imagine Noah, building his ark, with members of his own family, putting all his time and effort into it. Noah was a nice guy. I'm sure every once in a while a neighbor offered him coffee, or chai latte, or whatever refreshing drink they might have back then.
Here's the lesson to be learned. Just because they offered him some type of bubble tea drink, or coca cola, they still didn't make it to the ark. Rubbing shoulders with actors does not make you an actor. I have told my artist friends to write their memoirs. They told me that once they see me succeed, after all these many years of seeing my seemingly useless efforts, then they will write their memoirs and follow the road that I had paved for them.
Good luck to them, but if I were you, act now, get my art or make art. Support the 5-year old artist whose parent promised to release a comprehensive art catalog. If you get that 5-year old's art, and mine, I would be honored to be in the same art catalog that you will produce. I'm already successful at that point. You have gotten the mission just right.
I have already claimed to have written the most book-length artist memoirs in the world. Dethrone that claim. Barter. Use ghostwriters. Success to me means facing God one day and saying, I wrote my memoirs and left the world a legacy of books and art. I will not tell God, smiling and proudly, that I encouraged a run for my art by announcing a schedule of exponentially increasing prices that reached 9 figures. I'm sure God knows we had fun.

I had permission by a local art teacher to do mural art as part of a project supporting the environment / turtle conservation. One day I was making art (in the presence of my teacher) with the aerosol paint (which he purchased) and the municipals took me in their truck to the station. I sat there calmly with about 20-something cops, 80% men. The 2 female officers were the only ones to really mess with me. They (both about twice my age and size) robbing my jewelry. One cut off my bracelets when I refused to remove them, my religion. Gifts from my family and friends... i shook my head, reached in my bag and opened my bottle of expensive mezcal for the first time (no, i was not drinking or drunk) and as soon as i took a drink, the most aggressive female officer ran toward me. she snatched the bottle out of my hands, and forcefully proceeded to squeeze the bottle of hard liqour directly into my eyes, for about 5 seconds, and the rest in circular motion on my face, my hair, clothes... she tortured me with the bottle, blinding and burning me, for about 10 seconds maybe more. i went blind for about 10 MINUTES, all i could do was cry and pray. I still have scars on my face, missing cell phone, stolen money, stolen jewelry. My vision has continued to worsen, I can barley see anymore. I have nightmares and PTSD from this. What happened next? My art teacher came and got me, since he had the inital ties with government permission to do art with. No records of this, no papers were signed or written.... They act like nothing happened... after I think he paid them some amount money. (This happen in Mexico and I'm 1/2 Mexican, but I look white European / American. Maybe she thought she could get away with robbing and torturing me?) ///EDIT to add that yes i have filed reports with that municipality, and yet nothing has been done on their end. this case is still pending as far as i am concerned. i am still beautiful and strong, but this past event summer 2022 has sustained a major impact on both my physical and mental health. Other things she has done including restraining me / pulling my hair, but I keep the full report for lawyers.

Since 2006, four cars on the Formula 1 grid have been run and operated by Red Bull.
Before you got anywhere near the World Championship winning squad, you would first need to serve an apprenticeship at the second team - Toro Rosso.
Drivers would get a chance to impress at the outfit formerly known as Minardi and if they made the grade, promotion to the senior team was secured. Fail to and it would likely be the end of your Grand Prix career.
For 2020, Toro Rosso was given a freshen up and a new name: AlphaTauri as Red Bull wished to push their clothing brand.
This was also an opportunity for AlphaTauri to branch out from Red Bull and become more than just 'the Red Bull junior team' with standout seasons in 2020 and 2021 from Pierre Gasly.
However, all is not well at AlphaTauri as the 2023 season gets into its stride.
There has been great change at the very top of Red Bull, with questions over AlphaTauri's future swirling, but in this exclusive chat with RacingNews365, Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko is firm about the future of the team.
At the recent Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, long-time team boss Franz Tost was rather outspoken of his engineering team, saying he did not "trust" them any longer following a poor 2022 and slow start to '23.
It came after big changes in senior Red Bull GmbH management following the death of chairman Dietrich Mateschitz in October 2022.
Mateschitz's responsibilities have been divided up, with Oliver Mintzlaff taking up the role of leading 'corporate projects and new investments' - in short, the sports arm of Red Bull.
While Marko admits that talks were held, he firmly says AlphaTauri will not be sold.
"No, AlphaTauri is not for sale," he tells RacingNews365.
"Internally, there were several considerations, though.
"What is not satisfactory is that AlphaTauri costs more than Red Bull, so what do we do?
"Do we restructure, do you stay in Italy? Do you move the team partially to England or maybe even completely? Do you sell the whole thing?
"These were the considerations, when a new management comes in, you go through every possibility.
"We need a second team, simple as that.
"Especially also for the [Red Bull Powertrains] engines, it has to work. We have very good people here, the best.
"But we also have to prove in practice that things are under control."
How to do exactly that is the question. Tost admitted in an exclusive interview with RacingNews365 that having the team based in Faenza made it tricky to recruit staff from the United Kingdom, where most engineers are from.
He also believes the team need better infrastructure with which to compete , although one thing not needed is an engine as AlphaTauri bolt the RBPT unit in the back. This will have Ford backing from 2026, but one thing uncertain is whether it will be an AlphaTauri running it - as Marko explains.
"It is something we are reconsidering," he replies when asked about the future of the name of the team.
"It is logical too. The branding of AlphaTauri has been scaled back somewhat, because only in a few countries where we race, AlphaTauri is actually sold.
"It is about three to four countries only.
"The task is simple. More money must be brought in and results improved."
When asked how to do that, Marko did not rule out the possibility of an external title sponsor being signed with the team, in a similar way to Oracle at the main squad."

I got my v10 cyclone cordless vacuum on sale. Sadly, the attachment/ tools are different from animal or absolute/ complete sets. I am finally getting my first cat in a few and need to upgrade the attachment/ tools. I have (fabric) couches and will likely need to use this on areas too small for floor roller (cat bed). I (human) also have long hair. Before I get roasted to a crisp hear me out:
RLCS viewership is declining, probably due to multiple factors (game in general on a downwards trend, viewer fatigue, no format change in the past 2 years), but I wont go in to detail.
In my opinion, Psyonix is better off using the millions invested into prizepools on other things. The people who benefit most from prize money are the same 16-24 teams around the world who finish in the top 8 to 1st. A majority of those players are making more money from salaries than ever before (which is fine, since they play an insane amount of RL compared to league play format).
Instead of 2 million dollar prizepool for worlds (which is more than 6 times that of majors) I feel like they could cut it in half and use the remainder to increase production quality (its been almost the same for 2 years, heck, arguably worse than the pre covid live desk) for online events, more LAN's (like NA and EU championships for major seeding rather than just points), and trying out new things to revitalize the viewerbase (maybe a better drop system to bring people into the esport scene).
Here are some fun stats that I think back up my case:
Viewership decline (Ill do NA so I can avoid the EU team stream complications): - Average Viewers for RLCS 2021-2022 3rd regionals:

• Fall: 72 346
• Winter: 65 902
• Spring: 59 247
• The current stats for this season are unavailable, but off the eye test, it doesnt look like the trend is changing.
• I chose 3rd regionals for no reason in particular, but you can use any other events over the splits and see the same trend (majors included)

Prize pool:
- Just to show how high the prizepool for worlds is compared to other esports, here are some stats:

• RLCS Worlds Total Prize Money 2022-2023: 2.1 Million Dollars
• League of Legends Worlds 2022: 2.25 Million Dollars (plus, a percentage of sales from skins, estimate total around 5.5 Million, keep in mind psyonix/epic uses the esports shop to encourage orgs, not contributing to prizepools)
• Valorant Champions 2022: 1 Million Dollars Each (plus 50% of skin sales, around 16(!) million)

Now lets compare viewership for these events: - Average Viewers

• RLCS Worlds 2021-2022: 154 302
• LoL Worlds 2022: 987 437
• Valorant Champions 2022: 525 858

I think the numbers speak for themselves
TLDR: Viewership trending downwards + Huge Prizepool = Unsustainable, spend less on prizepool and more on making the viewing experience better (different format, more LANS, better desk segments). Maybe instead of 2 Mill for worlds, learn from other esports (1 mill or less + make worlds skins for cars and dedicate a percentage of sales to prize pool).

Hey all. Looking for some advice here from anyone who may have been down this road or have knowledge about a similar situation. My girlfriend and I have been renting a suite in BC for a little over two years now. In November 2022 our landlord raised our rent. Come to end of March 2023 he came to do a inspection of the unit and let us know that rent would be increasing in May 2023. I responded by saying no you can only do it once per 12 months so the next available increase is this November. He followed that by saying he was allowed to increase once per calendar year. Not having read the tenancy act in awhile I said that’s not my understanding of it but okay. After he left I reread the Tenancy act and found out I was correct - it’s once per 12 months. Also, he didn’t give us the required 3 months notice OR the notice of increase in writing.
The increase isn’t major (in the neighbourhood of $50)and the comparables in the area are around 10% higher at the moment. We are okay with starting to pay the extra in May, however we do not want to sign anything until November, as to not allow him to do another increase until the following November.
Would we be opening ourselves up to our next rent increase being in May 2024 if we start the increased payment early? I E had 2 landlords in the past 5 years be forced to sell which saw me evicted upon the sale so I am inclined to be on the delicate side with this situation. This experience aside, he has been a good landlord, and we don’t want him to just say screw it and sell. Thanks for reading and for any help you offer!

Grand Theft Auto V is still going strong nearly eight years after it first debuted on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (remember those?), followed by a slightly newer re-release on Windows PCs and the the PS4 and Xbox One. To date, publisher Take-Two Interactive has sold over 150 million copies of GTA V on various platforms.
The publisher revealed the impressive sales stat as part of its earnings report for its fiscal first quarter of 2022. Looking at the data from the previous quarter, it means T2 sold an additional 5 million copies in the past three months. Not too shabby, given that GTA V is far from a new game at this point. That is not the end of it, either.
T2 plans to launch an "expanded and enhanced version" for the latest generation game consoles, those being the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, on November 11, 2021. Developer Rockstar Games had previously said the updated version will bring "new features and more" to the table, but the details are still largely a mystery.
"The new generation versions of GTAV will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the latest hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever," Rockstar Games said last year.
We presume the retooled version of GTA V will tap into the fast storage capabilities of modern consoles, to drastically reduce game load times. It will also leverage the newer hardware in the latest gen consoles, namely the custom SoC based on AMD's Zen 2 CPU cores and RDNA 2 graphics.

Am I The Bad Apple for forcing my parents to stay at hotel and not inviting them to my wedding?
My name is Tomas. I am 28 male and I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada with my boyfriend Nate who is the same age. Nate is severely alergic to cat hair. In March 2022, my mother and father came to my city to get a their cat fixed. Nate doesn't really have the best relationship with my mother. In the past my mother had sent him messages about wishing he didn't get the job as a teacher. At a Christmas dinner she yelled at him for being two minutes late because we had to wait for a CN freight train even though it wasn't his fault. Anyways, since the appointment was at 8am in the morning they asked me if they could stay the night, because they didn't want to drive the 2 hours to the Vet in the morning. I love cats and they were everything to me when I lived with my parents, however knowing my boyfriend's alergies, in the text message I sent her like a week before the appointent, I said yes as long as they had their cat stay at a kennel or shelter overnight and that she wasn't mean to my husband. My mother was like why? I told her my boyfriend was alergic to cat hair and that Nate didn't want her to be mean to him. She just replied with "okay see you then". I thought they got the message, but the next day my mother sent me a message about asking if the cat could stay in a side room that we don't go in. I asked Nate about his opinion and he said he didn't want to risk it. I told her "no, the cat will just have to stay at a shelter or somewhere else." She responded with, "We want to be able to stay with our cat and we don't want pay for a shelter or hotel." I said, "I sorry but the last thing I want is for my boyfriend to have an alergic reaction one week before his birthday." The didn't text back. Later that evening they arrived at our house, the first thing I saw when they knocked on the door was a kennel with a cat inside. I was like, "what are you doing? I told you not to bring the cat." They responded with, "We want to stay with our cat and don't want to pay for a shelter. You used to love cats what's happened with you?" I was like, "I loves cats and yes I get why you want to stay with your cat, but if my boyfriend is alergic to cats and can't have cats around I'm going to follow his health orders." They were extremely pissed off and said how they didn't want to pay for a shelter for like the 5th time. We were in the middle of the argument when Nate got home from work. My parents went up him and proceeded to scold him for being alergic to cats. Nate replied with, "I was alergic since I was a baby and I can't control it." They even brought up the idea about Nate being my boyfriend if he is alergic to cats. I had told them already. They brought up, "it would just be for one night" Nate and I told them we don't want to risk it. At that point I was done, and I told them "if you are going to be mean to me or my husband and won't follow our rule about no cats allowed then you are going to have to stay at a hotel." They were mad and brought up the absurd idea of Nate staying at a hotel. I said no and told them to get out before I call the cops. They finally left and my mother sent me and Nate mean messages about not letting them stay with the cat and about having to stay at a dirty hotel and paying for a shelter. I just ignored them except the one about me being on Nate's side instead of theirs. I responded with, "This is Nate's house too. I live with Nate and he is amazing. I am always going to back him up and help him out if he needs it and for you two not following the health orders me and Nate put in place for the house is very disrepectful especially as my parents." The text messages that followed were about them being suprised I would for care for Nate over acommodating for them. I got mad and blocked them. A week later, I proposed to Nate on his birthday. I didn't even bother telling my parents about our engagement. With mine and Nate's wedding coming, I didn't invite my parents knowing that my mother way going to be mean to Nate and given the whole situation I had gone through with the cat. After hearing about my parents not being invited my sister who I usually go to for advice told me a day after the wedding that I should have reconsidered kicking them out and not inviting them. I didn't want my parents to mar the atmosphere of the wedding.
The wedding was nice and spectacular and I will always back up Nate, but I am kind of confused if I made the right decision. I need to know Am I The Bad Apple?

Our previous dog, Fred, had to be put under in February 2022. That's also the last time I had regular contact with dogs - I don't have many friends with dogs and we didn't have one in the mean time.
I moved in with my fiancé in November 2022, we don't have pets either. My parents have decided on fostering a dog because of the many upsides (full cost coverage for vet visits, food, etc. and getting to experience many different kinds of dogs). I drove to collect their new temporary family member, a beautiful German Mastiff named Ippie, today. He was checked up at a vet recently, has no infections, and has been cleaned.
Everything was fine on the 3 hour drive home, I left Ippie with my parents and went to my place. An hour later, it started... my hands I pet him with burn like 1000 hellfires and no amount of hand washing will get rid of the burn. My neck burns, where he straddled his head against mine while I secured him in the car. Eyes are itchy, nose is stuffed. My breathing is a little heavy, but I get enough air. About to go into the shower in hopes it gets better. If it doesn't get better within an hour, I'm dragging my butt to urgent care for antiallergic meds (no over the counter stuff here, this is Germany). (Also my fiancé is with me so I'm not alone should the symptoms turn far worse spontaneously)
I googled: Pet hair allergy can develop spontaneously, and - even though it's rare - there can be a delay on the symptoms.
It does crush me a little that I probably won't be able to cuddle Ippie as much as I hoped - I miss having pets around. It also crushes me that it puts a question mark on our plans to have dogs at some point.
A coworker will bring her Labradoodle to work soon, I'll see if her dog will cause similar symptoms. My cousin recently got a Yorkshire Terrier, same story there, I'll see if the same thing happens.
I guess sometimes, it just sucks.
