I decided to try an odd shadow build on necro
Primary damage dealer is blight with immobilize. Corpse explosion into shadow puddles with 9 essence per corpse used so no basic abilities 6 reapers with corpse maker 5 mages with extra shadow bolt Bone storm with the aspect that turns it into shadow Both curses for the aspect that increases shadow on all enemies that have both Iron Maiden and decrepify.
It’s so much fun. Lots of dot damage.

The Story: After a confusing encounter at a McDonald’s register turns violent, Jon is pulled into a magical bloodbath - and his only chance for survival lies with the pissed-off, perpetually-broke immortal working behind the counter.
---------------------------------
Step by step, the fire’s light faded out, the grass beneath my feet shading to a muted purple-grey before vanishing into black. I let out a shaky breath, lifting my gaze. We’d claimed a bit of grassy field along the mostly-quiet highway, and Cailyn had marked out a line of branches right before the no-go zone. My steps slowed as I searched for it in the darkness. Wouldn’t do to cross it unawares. No, I’d…
I stopped. It was faint, but…glowing with the scraps of firelight that made it out here, I could just barely make out the shape of a man laying ahead of me, tucked in right before the boundary line.
Aedan raised himself up a hair, the light catching the angles of his face more clearly. “Jonny,” he said. “You finally come to realize the wonders of sleeping outside?” He patted the grass alongside him, dropping back to level again. “Let them blabber away the night on their own.”
I chuckled under my breath, ducking my chin. I couldn’t really place why I’d decided to come over and disturb Aedan, since he clearly didn’t want to be bothered with the rest of everyone, but…while I wasn’t enthused with the thought of joining in on Mason and Cailyn’s banter, that didn’t mean I wanted to sit entirely by my lonesome, either. Aedan was better than nothing.
So I eased myself to the ground with a groan of tired bones, finally flopping down to lie flat.
In the hazy darkness, I saw him glance over. “You good?”
“Yeah,” I mumbled. “It’s…fine. Everything is fine. I think.”
Aedan hesitated, his gaze flicking over me. “...Okay,” he said at last. “Well, if you want to rant a little, I’m not exactly going anywhere.”
I signed, drooping against the soft ground. “Maybe. It’s just-”
“But, uh.” When I stopped, Aedan chuckled, raising a hand to mock at grasping his chest. “Necklace on? We can kill two birds with one stone.”
Right. My out-of-control magic. I grimaced at the reminder of another problem I needed to fix, but there was no pretending. I was keeping a handle on things okay without my relic on, all things considered, but…well, it’d been a few hours between our arrival and now, and the itch spreading across my skin was starting to prickle more than was comfortable. I wanted my relic back. There was no way I’d argue with Aedan’s offer.
A bit of the tension ebbed away at the brush of my fingertips against the entwined rings. I closed my eyes for a moment, leaning back and soaking in the blissful relief. That…felt better.
But Aedan wouldn’t sit there patiently waiting for me forever, so I slipped the cord around my neck, putting the rings back under my shirt, and exhaled. “Okay,” I whispered, trying to remember everything I’d done before. Trying to remember the way it’d felt to take my magic and shove it away. My eyelids squeezed tighter as I pushed. “Is…Is it-”
“Not yet,” Aedan said. “Still casting.”
Shit. I forced myself to take a long, slow breath, refusing to let the anxiety build up anew. You don’t need your magic right now. This is just Aedan. We talk all the time.
Something inside of me loosened. I opened my eyes again. “I…I think-”
“Hey,” Aedan said, perking up. He raised his head enough to grin over at me, waggling an eyebrow. “Would ya look at that? We’ll make a halfway competent mage out of you yet.”
“Shut up,” I groaned, shaking my head. “So it’s working.”
“Well, it’s not working, more like.” When I made an irritated noise, he snorted. “Let me have my fun. You’re good now, so…What’s going on?”
I froze, the words right there on the tip of my tongue. The weight of it all hit my chest again. I grimaced. “It was Brendon,” I said, turning my eyes back to the stars. “He…just wanted to pass on an update about the enemy crews in the area. It’s all looking good, by the way. We should be clear for a while, unless they sniff us out and come looking.”
“Okay,” Aedan said. “So why d’you look like you’ve got a stick shoved straight up your ass?”
Eloquent as ever. I made a face. “But…he reminded me about my parents, too.”
“Wait, Daddy Christensen’s still in the picture?” Aedan said, glancing over again. “Shit, Jonny, I didn’t think-”
“They’re both still alive,” I said, shooting an irritated look his way. “And don’t start with any of that.” I shook my head, letting my eyes rise. “After Greenville happened…they thought I died. Me and Keira both. I couldn’t let them stay like that.”
“And they know about you?” Aedan said. “I know you said-”
“Yeah,” I said “I was just a kid when I got my relic. They both found out when stuff started turning weird with it. They just…didn’t really know what to make of it.”
“Fuckin’ lucky, the whole thing,” Aedan said. For once, though, he wasn’t smiling. “You were a demi who didn’t know shit about how we work. If you’d gone and made a public stink of this-”
“We’d probably have gotten killed by Carl, or Noah, or Anke,” I said heavily. “Yeah. I’ve put a lot of thought into that, y’know.”
“I bet you have.” The faintest snort curled at the words. I heard him sigh a moment later, though. “So you told them what happened?”
I grimaced. “...Yeah. They don’t understand. Not really. But I…I told them to hide out for a while. Get out of the line of fire, in case any of Noah’s cronies decided to make a bid for leadership.”
“Did they?”
“Don’t know, do I?” I retorted. “We-”
“Magic,” Aedan said.
My lips curled into a scowl—but I took a tighter grip on my magic, forcing it away again. “We left Greenville. First to Detroit, then to Anke’s place. I haven’t exactly kept up on the news back home, and…” I shook my head. “They’d moved out of Michigan long before I met you. They’re living down south now.”
“South enough to be out of the range of the war?” Aedan’s voice was quieter, but sharp. “Do you think-”
“Probably,” I mumbled. “I don’t think they should get sniffed out. Neither of them are demis. As far as I know, anyway. If my grandpa had another relic to give my dad, he definitely didn’t say anything about it.” He would’ve told me. I was pretty sure about that. And I could still remember their panic when I first showed signs of oddness. It hadn’t been imagined or invented.
“If neither of them are magic, then I really don’t think they’re going to get spotted.” Christ, now he sounded all gentle, which was somehow worse. “I mean, I know how that shit goes. You’re going to worry regardless, but, y’know. Don’t let it get to you.”
“I know.” I sniffed, wiping at my nose, and shook my head again. “Just…if Madis has all this knowledge like Anke says…he’s looking for me. Maybe he figured something out about my family. Maybe he-”
“Calm the fuck down,” Aedan said with a groan. “You’re making me tired just listening to you. Yeah, Madis is probably going to be…pretty interested in you.” He drooped. I glanced over in time to see his eyelids sag lower. “I…know that much about him. He loves oddities, and he loves old magic. That’s…why I…”
His voice dropped away. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed. “It’s why I had a deadline, once I realized Anke knew about you too,” he said.
“The kidnapping,” I said. “With Cathy.”
He hesitated, but nodded. “...Yeah. That was her warning to me. She was giving Madis the information he wanted.”
“And giving you one last chance at death before he got here.” It wasn’t a question. At the same time, though…it wasn’t an accusation either. Maybe it would’ve been at one point, but I was coming to understand them all a little better. And even if Anke wanted Aedan to stay around, she hadn’t wanted to arbitrarily deprive him of the very thing he’d spent an eternity hunting for. What a tangled web.
Aedan looked away. “I didn’t know what else to do,” he whispered. “I’m not strong enough to stand up to Madis. I don’t have a crew. I’ve never had any of that shit. If he wanted you…” Again, he swallowed. “What could I do? It was already done. Decided. All I could do was-”
“I know,” I said, turning my sights back to the stars glimmering overhead. “It…was a bad situation for everyone.”
“Yeah,” Aedan said, his voice hoarse. I saw his chest rise as he took a long, deep breath. “B-But. Point is. Yeah, he’s going to be interested in you. But he’s got no reason to think you’ve got parents around, right? That’s not exactly normal for most of you twerps.”
“I guess,” I said. I was pretty sure I’d been told something like that before—it just didn’t make me feel any better. “I just-”
“If you’re so worried about it, why don’t you ask Anke?” Aedan said. “I…can’t do much to help. But she can.”
“Anke?” I murmured, glancing back toward the fire. “That’s-”
My blood chilled as I caught sight of her watching Aedan and I sidelong, blue eyes glinting in the firelight. Before I could say a word the moment passed, and she was back to murmuring something that made Amber bust out into cackles.
“Y-Yeah,” I said, forcing myself to look back to Aedan. “I guess I could, but-”
“You’re slipping again,” Aedan says. “You’ve got to stay focused.”
“Shit,” I mumbled, licking my lips. One hand settled around my necklace. “Sorry.”
“Fuck, don’t apologize to me.”
When I was pretty sure that my relic lay cool and dormant again, I stretched out again, running my useless fingers through the grass. “I probably could,” I mumbled. “Just…I dunno. She’s already champing at the bit to get me locked down working for her, in one fashion or another. I just…I don’t know if handing her more leverage is a good idea. And…” I grimaced. “I don’t know what my family can really offer. They’re not magic. They couldn’t pull their weight.”
“Guess that makes sense,” Aedan said. From the corner of my eye, I saw him wrinkle his nose. “Still…I think you should ask her. She’d probably help them out if it meant getting a debt out of you.”
“You immortals and your debts,’ I groaned. The urge to roll my eyes grew stronger. “Is that all you think about?”
“It’s a constant through the years,” Aedan said, a chuckle under the words. “Not much else is.”
“...Okay, fair enough.” I fell quiet, unable to really argue with that. I wanted to, but…if it meant keeping my family safe, maybe the right thing to do was acknowledge that Aedan had a point. Sure, I might wind up owing Anke a favor, but when she already had me by the short hairs, how much did that really matter? If she wanted something from me, I didn’t exactly have a lot of room to argue.
So I shut my mouth, grimacing, and watched the stars.
That was enough, for a while. I’d been given a lot to think about, between my parents, and Madis, and the scene in that long-distant concrete cell. The worries were starting to purr along more quietly, at least. I could keep a handle on things. Ever so slightly, I smiled, letting my eyelids droop.
“U-Uh. So.”
Well, that wasn’t like Aedan. I raised my head a fraction of an inch, fixing a look on him. “What’s up?”
“You…You don’t have to answer if you don’t want. But, uh. I just thought-”
“Pretty sure we’re past being shy,” I said. “Just ask.”
He let his head fall backward, then nodded. “...Yeah. Guess you’re right.”
I waited. He took a long few moments, but finally, I heard him take a deep breath.
“There’s something going on with you, isn’t there?” he said softly. “Back there in base. I…I don’t know what, but…Your woman wouldn’t bite my head off for nothing, and…sometimes, you…you seem like-”
“Ah,” I mumbled, and bobbed my head. My pulse quickened. I really didn’t want to talk about this—but he deserved to know. If nothing else, it wasn’t fair to let him keep putting his foot in his mouth over stuff he didn’t know.
So I sighed, planting one hand against the grass, and pushed myself to a sitting position.
His eyes snapped to me. “Jon?”
“I…didn’t tell you before.” I shook my head, laying my hands in my lap, and clasped them together as tightly as I could. All I got was a twinge of pain, but I saw his gaze drop to follow the motion. His brows furrowed, and I smiled faintly. “You…did a fair bit of damage to my hands, back then. And they didn’t react well to it.”
Slowly, Aedan pushed himself up alongside me, his eyes dark. “Wait, so-”
“I’m fine,” I said. One finger at a time, I unwound my hands from each other, then turned them palm up, letting the scars catch the light from the campfire. “But…I’m still dealing with these, a little.”
Aedan whispered something in Irish under his breath, the corners of his eyes creasing in consternation as he took my hands in his. And it actually came through in Irish, so…well, I’d take that as a win, however small. His thumbs traced over the thick ribbon of silvered flesh. “But…Anke has healers. She could fix this. So why the fuck didn’t she-”
“They tried,” I said. I didn’t try to pull away, even if the numb, hollow sensation against my skin sent prickles down my spine. I grimaced. “It’s…look. There’s not really a nice way to say this, and all that. Just…it’s okay, but…”
I looked away, unable to hold Aedan’s gaze. “You didn’t exactly do much to keep my hands from getting fucked up, after you sliced me open,” I mumbled. “So…they got infected. Really infected. And then I got thrown out into the forest and left to sit there, and…well, it got worse.”
“Jonny,” Aedan whispered. His hands slipped free of mine at least, and I saw him draw back ever so slightly. “I didn’t think-”
“I know,” I said. “You…really didn’t plan on needing my hands to be healthy.” I shook my head, clasping my hands again, and flexed the fingers against each other. “Hannah put me back together again, once they found me. She patched me up, but…it caused a lot of scarring when she did. Anke’s healers are good. They’re not miracle workers.”
“And that’s why you don’t have a gun.” His words were leaden, little more than a murmur. “Is that it?”
I chuckled. “Pretty much.” Extending one hand again, I curled my fingers—and watched, mute, as they twitched, the torn skin of my palm dancing with the exposed tendons beneath. “I don’t have a ton of mobility with them anymore, and if I’m too reckless with what I try and grab, it hurts. Can’t feel much with them, normally.” I shrugged. “But I can get by fine. With most things it’s just a matter of bracing and squeezing at the right spots. I don’t need a ton of finesse to dial my phone or use a fork. It’s tough sometimes, but if I drop it, no big deal. Keeping control of a gun? That’s…a bit different.”
Aedan nodded, but his eyes were still downcast. “There’s got to be something she can do.”
“Maybe,” I said with a sigh, letting my hands fall again. “Maybe when all of this is over, she can help me with that.” And I’ll wind up even further in debt to her. I grimaced. “But…right now, this is fine.”
Aedan shook his head slowly. “Jonny, I-”
“If anyone’s to blame, it’s Madis,” I said quietly. “It’s because of him I got stranded out there to rot. You were coming back for me. Right?”
A long silence—and then Aedan nodded. “Yeah.”
“See?” I said. I flopped back to the grass, letting my hands fall into the black. I couldn’t feel everything, but the sensation of the coolness enveloping me was a little slice of bliss. “His fault. Not yours.”
“But-”
“Don’t try and blame yourself for everything,” I said, more softly still. “You fucked up. But this wasn’t all you.”
He sat there frozen, eyes down. Finally, he nodded. “Thanks,” he whispered.
All I could do was smile grimly, letting my weariness simmer higher. I was too damn tired for this mess—and yet, I found I felt a bit better, after laying it all out. It was one less thing I had to worry about, now. Another step forward.
Maybe someday, we could put all this behind us and just be normal again.
Until then, I closed my eyes, leaning into the soft grass, and let the sound of my friends’ distant laughter pull me under.

Sort of a continuation of this thing? Author’s note: I got bored. Without further ado,
Lights! Camera! Action!

New Day Development Zone, Central Akwilaya City, June 17, 2077
The tenant-farmer-turned-factory-worker rests in his apartment, his feathery wings applying themselves gently to the cushions of his couch. It is the mid-afternoon, and he has recently returned to his new home in the city, built by those travellers from another world who his land now calls neighbors and provided to the commonfolk at an astonishingly reasonable price. He performs the ritual needed to activate his radio, and listens while he thinks about nothing in particular. A light and melodic voice flows from the box.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first broadcast of the Modern History Interviews segment of the Akwilayan Public Radio Network. I am Mahrionel Aentwasieur, and I’ll be your host for the forseeable future. I’d like to introduce our guest, James Stewart. Would you be so kind, Mr. Stewart?”
A gruff yet affable voice is emitted from the box, and though he does not speak the strange language of this particular foreigner, the artifice within grants him perfect understanding. “Just call me James, ma’am, formerly Lance Corporal James Stewart of London’s First and Only, European Army, and currently James, professional collector of pensions.” The man chuckles to himself for a brief moment.
“So, James,” the woman replies, “how about-“
He cuts her off, saying, “Sorry, ma’am, I‘m already taken.”
”None of that, James. We’d like to hear about your experiences in Operation Terms And Conditions, or The Wars, as many of our listeners may know it as. I understand you were involved in the fall of Samn-Ahmnkan?”
”Ah, yes, the Great Seal-Clubbing. So, you’d like a good ol’ fireside chat, miss? Shoulda brought me to the pub, then! I haven’t got nearly enough drink in me,” the soldier replies with a laugh. “Oh, but I can tell ye about it, yeah.”
”Are there no idioms in your language that aren’t absurdly violent and/or vulgar?”
”Eh, probably. More than one way to skin a cat, after all! Oh, but I’ll get on with the story, now. Wouldn’t want to ruffle any of your feathers, bird-lady.”
“Hey, I have a name, you kno-“

Neu Berlin, June 7, 2066
For the first time since he had been evacuated from the ruins of London, James Stewart was about to walk into a portal. This time, however, it would be sending him not away from battle, but directly into one. Everyone present had at least claimed to have read the files, and everyone knew who their enemy was. The Grand Duchy of Samn-Ahmnkan, or the Sammies, as everybody called them, were a bunch of dirty slaving bastards who’d only been given aid to be fair for everyone. Of course, they’d gone and used their new gear to enrich their nobles and strengthen their armies, and everyone with half a brain knew they were about to invade their neighbor to the east.
In ten seconds, every single factory, industrial vehicle, lightbulb, and everything else relying on beamed mana-turned-electricity in the Duchy was about to have every ounce of power cut to it. This lack of power would both cause utter chaos and confusion and provide power for the portals which were about to disgorge their cargo of men. James took a deep breath.
Ten.
Nine.
Eight.
He chuckled and under his breath he said, “For king and country,” even though the monarchy had been abolished by nuclear warheads years ago, and the country had ceased to exist as anything more than a memory in the hearts of those humans who had fled to the new world they found themselves in.
Five.
Four.
Three.
Two.
He began to sweat.
One.
The portal, shimmering and bright purple, materialized before him, and he stepped through.

The Square of the Unworthy, Grand Duchy of Samn-Ahmnkan
Conventional wisdom on this planet, he had been told, said that any incursion into a country must come from either its borders or its coasts. Conventional wisdom on this planet, he had been told, said that only the greatest of mages could transport themselves instantly and infiltrate a land from within, and that even then they could bring only themselves. Conventional wisdom on this planet, he had been told, was reduced to complete and utter bullshit when humans entered the equation. Conventional wisdom on this planet, he knew, was about to be turned on its head.
He and around 90 other men had been dropped straight into the largest slave-holding area in the Duchy. Their orders were simple: They were to get in, put a bullet between the eyes of any Sammy slave-masters who didn’t surrender, shove any who did through the portal and into the waiting arms of the nearest POW camp, give any slaves they found a semi-auto whose design was over 100 years old and which had been produced in ludicrous quantities by the Nor-Ams for exactly this purpose, and hold the line. Easy, at least on paper.
It took him a moment to regain his senses after going through the portal. When he did, he saw countless slaves in the process of being broken in, and their masters in the process of doing the breaking. Unfortunately for the slavers, he had a rifle and they didn’t. Gunshots rang all around him as he and his compatriots unloaded shot after shot against anyone who was obviously not a slave. When the work was done, communications equipment was sent forwards, along with various aid supplies and boxes upon boxes of modified M1 Garands, bayonets already attached and an extended clip already in place.
The unit’s officer got on top of a box, setting his helmet to magnify his voice to the greatest extent it could muster. At the top of his lungs and the deepest recesses of his throat, he shouted, “Slaves, servants, downtrodden of every variety! Your liberation is at hand, and we invite you to participate in it! Take from us a weapon, and rip and tear until the deed is done!”
James had no idea how that speech got approved, but it seemed to work. As he rushed ahead to the gate, he saw slaves drop their tools and, slowly at first, head to the crates of weapons for a crash course in how to use them. He helped create a makeshift barricade at the facility’s gate, and got ready for the big guns to show up.

Akwilaya City, 2077
“Well, James,” the voice of Ms. Aentwasiuer asks, “How would you describe their response?”
”Bloody pitiful, frankly. The poor Minotaur- sorry, I mean Oxling- bastards had nearly their whole army on the border, ready to invade some neighboring principality I don’t remember the name of. Half the city guards didn’t give enough of a fuck to actually try and stop us, and the ones who did were bringing swords to a gunfight. And that was before we put on our fancy pants.”

Grand Avenue of Samn-Ahmnkan, Grand Duchy of Samn-Ahmnkan, 2066
After a few spare minutes of waiting, the tanks arrived. Slaves and soldiers alike stood clear of the thundering Challenger 3.5s as they rolled through the portal, and James advanced along them out of the gates of the Square and through the city’s main avenue, which would bring them to the palace. Liberated slaves fanned out throughout the area to provide support, as well as a few soldiers with every unit of freedmen to stop them from terrorizing the locals.
His helmet‘s HUD showed new green and blue dots appearing across the city seemingly every second, as slaves were liberated and new forces were sent in via portals. Every cluster of allied forces began to converge on a single point: the palace. Above the city, he saw portals open and immediately close as advanced aircraft marked wyverns and their riders to be hit by munitions transported instantaneously from a classified location somewhere on the planet. Actually, that might not have been true. For all he knew, they were storing munitions in a sealed facility under the bombed-out ruins of Earth.
Wherever the missiles were coming from, they were judiciously effective in dispatching the Duchy’s “air force,” if one could call it that. Equally effective were the canister shells fired by the column’s lead Challenger at an incoming unit of spearmen. Eventually, after meeting minimal resistance throughout the city, they arrived in the palace.

Akwilaya City, 2077
“So,” the woman asks, “it is said that the Ducal Guards of Samn-Ahmnkan were among the most capable warriors out of any non-human nation at the time of their fall. What do you have to say about that?”
”Well,“ comes the response, “They certainly had the shiniest armor out of all the Sammies I saw.”
Ducal Palace of Samn-Ahmnkan, 2066
The Mage-Warriors of Gold, The Dark Duke’s Own, The Supreme Palatial Blades, and a thousand other titles were given to the Ducal Guards of Samn-Ahmnkan by their friends and foes alike. They were the sons of nobles from across the land, taken at three years old and trained by the most vigilant instructors to protect the Duke and his home. They were the reason an infiltrator had not set foot upon the palace of Samn-Ahmnkan in over a century. Their record was about to be ended by a unit of pissed-off humans.
Their armor, decorated with gold and forged of the finest steel available to the Grand Duchy, was said to be able to deflect a thousand blows and absorb a thousand more. Their blades were said to slice through flesh as if it were air, and their strength was said to be with neither limit nor peer. Their magical prowess was such that they could burn men alive with a single word, block arrows with the motion of a hand, and glide through the air as easily as they walked.
The gates of the palace swung open for the invaders in a mocking sort of greeting, as if the building were saying to come and take it if they dared. Before them stood thirty of the Ducal Guards, with two more flanking the Duke’s throne, projecting a shield to ensure harm would not come to him. The duke spoke in a voice that was far too loud for the rather stout man.
He said to the humans, “Fiends of another world! Know that you have come thinking yourselves to be conquerors, but that your efforts shall be in vain. Know that my armies march as we speak towards my fine city, and that the forces arrayed before me shall be slaughtered by my finest guards. I see not soldiers before me. I see dead men, who do not know they have perished.”
James said the only thing he could think of. “What armies? Last I checked they all got blown up!”
The duke and his men knew this was false. However, their confusion brought their guard down for just long enough for the thirty men in front to be obliterated by a series of HEAT rounds. The soldiers marched over the charred armor and viscera, into the duke’s throne room.
“You fools! Your children will be bartered as entertainment, your women as servants, and your men as laborers! Surrender now, and you may merely be diced to pieces rather than fed alive to the slaves you have tem-“
Whatever he was about to say was drowned out by two depleted uranium sabot rounds, which broke through the shield and struck down his guards. Intentionally, he survived, and James and three other men were assigned to drag him through a portal that now opened to bring him to his new home in New Guantanamo.
”You know,” James said as he and the three other men threw him to the ground in front of the North American guards, “one of these days they should add monologuing to the list of deadly sins. He was really bloody annoying.”

Akwilaya City, 2077
The man ends his tale, saying, ”Y’know, I wish I could say more, but the war pretty much ended for me after that one day. Of course, the occupation went on for a few years longer, but it turns out mass insurgency is a bit hard when you only have spears, and I’m sure nobody wants the story of how I sat around handing kids chocolate bars for two years while they got a government set up. Now if you don’t mind, I’m gonna go get a bloody drink.”
”Well, thank you for coming on to the show. Next up is our station’s Latest Hits section, hosted by-“
The farmer-turned-factory-worker shuts off the radio, cutting her off. He still doesn’t quite understand what in the seven hells human ”pop music” is, but he knows he wants absolutely none of it.

2023.03.25 23:37 yungtrg Games on PS5 with good progression/loot systems I can play for hundreds of hours solo

I’m looking for a game with rewarding progression or loot systems I can play endlessly or at least for a long time, preferably as a solo player on PS5. It can be multiplayer (as long as it’s viable solo), RPG with multiple choices which justify replay value, roguelikes, loot shooters or generally games with strong replayability
Some games I’ve tried:
Destiny 2 - bit too confusing for a new player but most what I’m looking for
Monster Hunter World - loved the gameplay loop but didn’t like the combat that much
Path of Exile - totally lost with how I should build my character and didn’t like the leagues system
ESO - totally what I’d like to play but combat kinda sucked for me
No Man’s Sky - loved it for 30 hours, then it got boring and repetitive
Deep Rock Galactic - I see the appeal but it got repetitive fast as a solo player
Dark Souls - I love all From games for one playthrough, don’t want to sweat for more
Already played a lot of Fallout, Skyrim, Witcher 3, BF1/4, GTA V, Civ 6, RDR2, Rocket League
Thanks

2023.03.25 23:34 Pandarandrist Sorcerer passive Lost Knowledge is so out of place power-wise

If you haven't seen it yet, it gives up to 100% of your max mana as ward every time you cast a spell that costs 40 or more mana. This is....kinda nutty.
There are lots of things that give a portion of your mana spent as ward. Generally speaking, getting 200% of your mana spent as ward is a pretty significant investment. And this is SO much better and costs nothing but 10 passive points. Using this passive in any build (that casts spells that cost 40 mana) can generate thousands and thousands of ward on demand.
I know there have been a lot of ward-generating mechanics in the game in the past that were far stronger, but that doesn't change that this makes so many other mechanics that mages have to generate ward look pitiful in comparison.
I wonder if the devs will tune this down or tune other things up. I'd like to play a build that doesn't use 40 mana cost abilities, but Lost Knowledge makes it soooooo much better if you do.

2023.03.25 22:13 kieranball07 Recommend a game

I’m a relatively new gamer, but I like to have a couple of hours in bed every night on the switch. I’m looking for switch games but would be open to hearing about anything on the Steam Deck which I’m planning on treating myself to this summer.
Games I’ve sunk a lot of hours into (in no particular order):
Skyrim: 70 hours on the switch and easily the same again on PlayStation and PC. A few hours on VR too but not a whole playthrough. I LOVE that I can build my character up with skills. I’m happy ‘farming’ for XP.
FBZ Kakarot: 60 hours and I think nostalgia swung it for me. I got to see the whole DBZ storyline again like I watched as a kid. I also quite likes collecting every soul emblem to satisfy my collectionist nature.
Witcher 3: Currently playing this and perhaps 1/3 of the way through with 60 hours played. I reckon I’ll get a solid 150 hours out of this making it the most played Switch game for me
Pokemon Scarlet: Again, nostalgia played a big role here and I got about 70 hours from this. I am a collectionist so I had to catch them all. I like collection targets provided they are not too difficult.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: no idea how but this game got 90 hours from me. I’ll play this again after the next update. I wanted to max out all characters and this kept me going. The designing the village was fun too but I was never a huge sim fan
I like open world, I like farming for xp or coin, I like completion targets.
I’m thinking: 1) Hogwarts Legacy 2) Kingdoms of Amarlur: Re-Reckoning 3) Pokémon Arceus
If I get the steamdeck, i might treat myself to a RuneScape membership and start from scratch again.
However, based on the above, what games would you recommend.
I appreciate that’s a very mixed bag so might get a lot of different answers.

2023.03.25 22:07 shiftinganathema Looking for fanfics to translate

Hi! So I know this is a bit unique and I hope it's allowed on this sub. I'm looking for short fanfics to translate from English to French to build my portfolio of translated fiction. I've been to school for translation (though I didn't stick around long enough to get a degree to the hellish commute). My native language is French and I'm fluent in English, which is the language I use almost exclusively on the Internet. I'm currently translating a video game from English to French with other volunteer translators as well as translating my own monster of a fanfic from French to English. I'm looking for fanfics up to 5k words and complete. I know it's short but it's because I'd rather start small. I'm currently sifting through my preferred fandoms and PMing authors but I figured I would also offer my services here. This translation would obviously be completely free. I'd need to be able to communicate with you, ideally on discord though reddit PMs/chat are fine too, during the process. Here are the fandoms I'm interested in: Harry Potter Naruto Fairy Tail Six of Crows The Lord of the Ring Horizon Zero Dawn Skyrim The Witcher 3 Witch Hat Atelier Nevernight Sousou no Frieren In the Land of Leadale The Apothecary Diaries Ascension of a Bookworm
If you're unsure or have questions, please feel free to comment or PM me! There's really no trick. I'm just trying to build up my various portfolios (I'm doing something similar for design and editing services) because I'm gonna be looking for a job soon and might need to show my skills applied in more situations than I can come up with on my own; besides, I know that some authors really like to offer their fics to a wider audience.

2023.03.25 21:14 Daigotsu Partial Review: Mageling - Millennial mage book1

I really liked the cover with this book. I also like magic school societal type stuff. but I made it roughly 50 pages total, just into chapter four before choosing to DNF this book.
I know slice of life implies a looser plot structure, and less urgent motivations, a weaker inciting incident. But I wasn't feeling it here. I couldn't find any of the progression elements in what I read, it was starting to feel like it was thrown in as a marketing aspect rather than an honest part of the genre.
The teleportation hook is watered down when it isn't a true fish-out of water like Isekai or hero summoning have. We aren't introduced to well to "who" this character is and why we should follow them. That anchor for the reader.
There are undertones and implications that Tala is special. But it is presented with not quite enough contest or history for my taste. It was also countered by some odd aspects that left me scratching my head.
We get into spots where it seems the MC doesn't understand the basics of her society. The value of labor, and other things that add up, including actively ignoring people key to her career for reasons. It created both a lack of engagement and where she's being pushed around socially, and a feeling that maybe she's less than special. I know she'll be shown to be awesome later, but I didn't make it that far.
The world building had highs and lows. Mages apparently go mostly naked for the magic system, but when the MC is teleported naked the overly strong reaction among those who work there felt out of place.
There is a bit where her thoughts and mental state is modified, yet we don't know the MC enough to have a strong feeling about it. The whole scene is weird and almost unprompted. I can guess that character will show up again, and maybe the motivations will be clear. It felt disjointed.
The magic system bounced between technical and hand waving. I was never able to get the most solid feel of it or how it fits into progression.
The dialog felt slightly forced, but mostly acceptable.
The grammar could have used another pass as it got redundant or had words that should have been cut to smooth out the prose and help with pacing.
The opening scene could have been re done as the way information was given to the reader made the whole thing choppy. A solid looking half sphere, then guards appear after not being mentioned, then there's a wall surrounding her, then shelves somewhere. Pertinent information was fed disjointedly making it tough to get through and maintain the image/story in my head.
It has potential and with the positive reviews I hope that it got better. But it didn't feel like a final draft and could use another pass at it. It had possibly interesting and unique aspects, but none of them were framed in a way that caught and maintained my interest.
I decided I'd probably drop it when the author chose to have the MC rudely ignore someone explaining something that might make them more interesting to me. I understand the desire to avoid expositional dialogue, but the double whammy there took me out.
2/5 stars a book that seems brimming with potential, but felt too raw.

2023.03.25 21:12 Eaglestar50001 Spell Selection for Graviturgist

Building a Graviturgy wizard for a desert themed one shot. I thought it would be fun to run him as an Egyptologist, a lot of earth magic and focus on necrotic spells. The idea was that he gained his knowledge of magic from exploring tombs and finding lost magic. The DM has hinted that it may be particularly brutal combat wise, resulting in me building a very supportesque spell list. I have a final spell left that I can choose and don't know what to pick. If this was for a campaign, I would grab remove curse but that doesn't seem as useful for a oneshot. Maybe something offensive? Can you all help me? I would prefer not to use the Chronurgy Spells. Thanks.
Chosen Spell List Includes the Following:
Cantrips: Chill Touch, Light, Mage Hand (Telekinetic), Mold Earth, Mind Sliver
1st: Comprehend Languages, Detect Magic, Feather Fall, Identify, Inflict Wounds (Shadow Touched), Mage Armor, Magnifying Gravity, Shield, Tenser's Floating Disk
2nd: Gentle Repose, Invisibility (Shadow Touched), Levitate, Wither & Bloom, Wristpocket
3rd: Enemies Abound, Leomund's Tiny Hut, Life Transference, Pulse Wave
4th: Gravity Sinkhole, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Stone Shape
The idea was that the ritual spells aren't prepared, but every other spell will be.

2023.03.25 20:47 Wapulatus Featuring The Gatewatch! (Magic: The Gathering)

"For justice and peace..."
"For the sake of the Multiverse..."
"If it means that people can live in freedom, yeah..."
"For the life of every plane..."

"I will keep watch."

"Happy now?"

Featuring... The Gatewatch!

The Multiverse encapsulating the story of Magic: The Gathering hosts a vast, sprawling storyline that shifts from plane to plane, exploring worlds entirely alien to one another yet part of the same overarching narrative.
Among these worlds are powerful mages with the ability to move between these planes, known as Planeswalkers. Planeswalkers are typically aloof, selfish, and cowardly due to being able to simply move to an entirely new world whenever danger or conflict presents itself.
However, when the Eldrazi threatened to consume the entire plane of Zendikar, four planeswalkers made the decision to stay and fight instead of leaving the plane to its fate, resolving to kill the eldrich abominations. This group would become known as The Gatewatch, and would be at the center of Magic: The Gathering's story for nearly half a decade as a central cast of characters.
NOTE: This thread only covers the original five members of the Gatewatch, and their most basic abilities for the sake of brevity. Individual planeswalker bios are sourced from Wizards' official planeswalker profiles.

General Abilities

Before we hit the team members, every Gatewatch individual are both planeswalkers and mages, sharing general characteristics in how they use magic and traverse planes.
Planeswalking
"In Magic: The Gathering, a Planeswalker is a powerful mage who is able to travel across the planes of existence. There are infinite worlds across the Multiverse, and Planeswalkers are unique in their ability to move from one world to the next, expanding their knowledge and power through the experiences they collect there."

Chandra believes that everyone deserves the freedom to make their own choices.

Like Gideon, Chandra uses magic to enhance some of her physical abilities.

Nissa Revane

Nissa Revane is a powerful elven animist capable of awakening the land itself to fight at her side. Her innate connection to the primal magic of the Multiverse gives her profound respect for all life and the systems that support it. Despite her kind and soft-spoken demeanor, she fights both fiercely and relentlessly to defend the natural world wherever it is threatened.

Physical Feats

Primary Magic - Elemental Control

Using the Gatewatch on WhoWouldWin

The Gatewatch are basically fantasy's equivalent of the Avengers. They're a diverse group of superpowered individuals with varying capabilities per team members that work together to become more than the sum of their parts.
There's two ways to go with this - have them fight other superpowered hero/villain groups from either fantasy or something more in-tune with traditional comic books, or have them fight a giant, powerful enemy that they can team up to defeat (similar to the Eldrazi, Nicol Bolas, etc).
Of course, these kinds of matchups can be very messy and hard to parse. It's always better to consider if 1v1 matchups are easier to talk about and are more interesting before jumping into giant team battles!

2023.03.25 20:28 MrTB_7 Is it normal to get constant bad teammates? is anyone going through the same?

Since last season I do not understand why I kept getting bad teammates over and over. Its almost felt like my account just purely meant to get shit load of bad teammates. Due to that my WR absolutely got destroyed and people think I am just a bad player.
(since screenshots get removed) Currently I have played 10 matches, Lost 6 matches. 4 MVP losses, 1 Gold and 1 silver. I got some random duo who decided to pick mages when there is already one and Miya. kept switching builds and start buying penetration item instead of critical builds. I even got Xavier who just stares at team fight. Estes who decide to feed because he got bored.
I am fine if this happens once in while, but this is so consistent to the point I have more MVP losses than MVPs. Its almost feel like my account just fated to get matched random trolls. Does anyone dealing with the same issue?

2023.03.25 19:07 LennyBlithe [A4A playing F] Skyrim; The mage and the vampire

The journey was over. First, together, they slayed Harkon, the dreaded vampire and father of Serana. Then, the World-Eater: Alduin. Then, Miraak, the other Dragonborn. Skyrim was safe. Elysia filled their role has the Dragonborn, the protector of Skyrim, even if they did refuse to become the high ruler, that honor went to Jarl Elisif. Everything was fine. Nobody would dare threaten Skyrim's peace as long as Elysia was still alive and fighting. Skyrim experienced a time of peace. Bandits and other petty thieves ceased to exist out of fear of hearing the mythical shouts.
Serana and Elysia parted ways. Elysia left her to fulfill their role as the protector, while Serana dealt with her own personal issues. Maybe they would cross paths again, some day. Maybe old age would catch up with Elysia before they got the chance. Who knew? What the future had in store was untold. Vampires were done for, leaving Fort Dawnguard useless. Only Isran remained, and possibly Serana. With Harkon gone, it's just as likely that she claimed Castle Volkihar for herself. On the other hand, Elysia sought to perfect their skills in the arcane, and learn as many shouts as he could. Their lust for knowledge was a savior sometimes, but could just as well be their downfall.
Five short years passed. Five years after Alduin fell, something happened. All of Tamriel was plunged into war. A battle for who would claim themselves as the ruler of Tamriel. Jarl Elisif tried her best to keep Skyrim safe from the war, but no matter how hard she tried, it was impossible to keep the inhabitants safe from the Earth-shaking battles of the war. Skyrim had to remain neutral. Anybody who tried and disturb her peace would be met with the Dragonborn.
Serana was safe from the war. Her home was too far off most of Skyrim's maps, so she was safe. Nobody had any reason to attack and if they did, she was far too powerful to be taken down. She lived a peaceful life. Until something happened. In the midst of the war, Serana saw something.
The ear-piercing screeches of thousands times thousands of souls. The very barriers of the plane she stood in weakened. All of humanity trembling and bowing before a figure that wasn't quite visible yet. Everyone on the world of Nirn, bowing. Soaked in blood, with tears streaming down their faces. Nords, Elves, Argonians. Men, women, children. The figure they bowed before slowly came into the picture. It was a face. A face she was all too familiar with. A face that would immediately cause her to break down. The face of the Daedric Prince who ruined her life. Who forced her and her mother into becoming a vampire.
Molag Bal.
He was back. He was going to use the war to destroy the barrier between Tamriel and Oblivion. She was the only one who knew what was happening. She couldn't fight him alone. She couldn't even look at him without feeling sick to her stomach. What could she do? Was there anything she could do? The panic set in as she felt sick to her stomach. But when she settled down, she realized. There was something she could do. There was somebody she could go to.
"Then we'll fight. But not for Skyrim. Not for Tamriel. Not even for Nirn. For you, Serana. He will fall in your name."

Hi! I’m Lenny. I’m a sixteen year old male who’s been roleplaying for about three years. I’m capable of writing 1+ paragraphs, though I usually write between four and six. I match my partner’s length, so you’re free to write however much you want! I only have a couple requirements, being you must be semi-literate to literate (1+ full paragraphs, 2+ preferred) and you must be around my age.
Recently, I bought the Anniversary Edition for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and a few creation club creations made me really want to make that Dragonborn into an OC to RP with! This being said, my OC (Elysia) does start off with a couple Creations along with them, that being the unicorn and Arachnia. More information on Elysia will be provided in DMs! Also, I have variations of Elysia as both male and female. All depending on my partner's preference.
If the plot posted above interests you, feel free to DM me!
Also, I would highly prefer for the RP to take place on Discord. I just am rarely on Reddit until I get an email saying that someone messaged me, so it makes replies exceedingly slow.

2023.03.25 18:39 Asleep_Toe_6880 Druid-Alchemist-Shaman / nature-themed: Playthrough, RP, Mods

Hi!
Firstly, I know there are many threads about Druid-Mods, Houses, even whole collections and videos. While knowing the first three, I am now looking for inspiration in videos but also here.
I think that many thread are already two years or even older, so maybe it isn't wrong looking for new inspirations, mods, etc. I am gonna try to explain some categories and what I am searching for.
Of course, every mod you know for a playthrough like this, can be mentioned and is appreciated!
Playthrough / RP: Maybe a short Introduction: He is a Khajiit from Elsweyr but interested in Druidism, Alchemy, yeah, maybe even Shamanism. He lives outside the civilization and follows nature and likes to collect things, learn everything from Skyrim. (Of course, this is a very short introduction). So I started this playthrough some months ago as a Khajiit, changed it later to those Bird Race Mods but I found myself quickly ... doing quests and playing regularly. :D I wanted to finish/finished the College-Questline and Greybeard-Questline (because of Kynareth) because of the feeling that he is somehow ... special but prefers the hermit life (so I installed the mod that he does not become the Archmage). On the other hand it feels a litte bit like Radagast: Being someone special in the wilds and not really doing your job but living far away from civilization). I found it interesting to play a lonely hermit race, maybe theoretically excint, like there Bird Race Mods. But I think I gonna return to a Khajiit.
So one question is: How are you doing your playthroughs? Which quests could be interesting for them, how you can justify it? I tried thinking like a helpful Shaman but this clearly ends in doing quests and caverns ... On the other hand you have to do something, this is not Sims ... Second question: Any tips for roleplaying? I know in Skyrim you have to make up more in your mind. I found the PDFs 'Goals for Roleplaying' but nothing really fits for these playthroughs. On the other hand you have to make yourself satisfying goals. I often easy to motivate myself for something like 'earn gold to buy a better house', so I have the mod with your own shop. But also here ... Gold isn't really something he would collect ...
Housing: My biggest motivation for playthroughs are homes from some mods. Yes, I love those cozy homes and living in them, returning to them. While there are to many beautiful natured houses (and I often simply cannot decide which one to use, which is also a problem) I found some problems, maybe you are feeling the same or could motivate yourself. I used [Aldamar - Druid Mushroom Home] first and changed to [Sindora's Hidden Hearth]
1.) In fact, Skyrim Housing can be beautiful but it is really like something you can have but don't need it. You need the chests and maybe the crafting stations. Because of full inventory you are returning there quite often but you never really stay there? Any ideas to change that? As a hermit I do not like followers that much ... maybe animals or really fitting followers. Sometimes I would like to have a mentor-student-relationship ... 2.) I thought about motivation. These beautfiul houses are often 'finished'. I thought it would be really interesting to have a Hearthfire-Building for maybe like an Alchemy Shack (that, on the other hands, looks also beautiful and isn't that big). So adding some things over time and not have it immediately. I know there are many houses with a system like this, but I did not found any nature-themed.
Alchemy: While 'finding and learning every Alchemy Ingredient' is a goal that can motivate myself much, I found that plants are very ... common. While there a many mods that changing cooking and alchemy, there isn't really one that adds more plants to collect? I feel that there are like five plants (of course, there are more for sure), every other ingredient you are obtaining from fighting enemies. But I wouldn't say that I am an expert in Alchemy, that is somehow my feeling from my last playthrough.
NPCs/Follower: I already said that this should be more a hermit playthrough (while, of course, not interacting with anyone could be boring fast). But maybe there are a follower that fits the vibes, a student or a companion. Of course, I am using the Rabbit Follower which is nice. :D As for the NPCs ... It is connected with the housing. I feel that some visits at your house (or even going near them) could motivate, too. Often those natured-themed houses, of course, are like really outside every way. I can't really tell which could make this better. I did some playthrough some years ago in which one I lived in Riverwood, so it felt more like a part of this town maybe as a Medic ...
So I am gonna leaving it with that and I am thankful for mod suggestions (that maybe are even newer) but also ideas, motivations for playthroughs and roleplaying. Thank you!

2023.03.25 17:52 ElliotUnbound #1 Best Character: Claude the Ruler of the Skies

Well, well, well. I knew Claude was gonna be cracked before I started testing this build, but truthfully, I didn't expect him to be THIS cracked.
He has it all. Power, attack speed, mobility and combat art spam. Felix also has those, but there are two important things that Claude has over the Galvanic Assassin: the absolutely broken Barbarossa class action and Wind God, the best combat art in the game. I'm very convinced the fireballs that pop out of his class action are effective against all enemies, since they can take out enemies completely on their own if you can keep them trapped in a fireball. The class action charges up pretty quickly too and each individual charge is just as powerful, despite there being 3 charges.
The Wind God combat art is just straight up busted. It's effective against all enemies, turns into three arrows since it's boosted by Dustcloud, draws enemies toward it AND does damage even when enemies are guarding. Not only that, but The Inexhaustible allows Claude to halve the cooldown, which turns into about 9 seconds with max Spd. The only other character that can do something similar is Thunderbrand Shez with Swift Slice. Don't do that though, I tried it and it's actually not that good 😅
Dustcloud is amazing since the Windtorn status actually does quite a number to enemies when they're in the air, especially when combined with Fiendish Blow. His unique support ability Leader's Acumen is good as well for Awakening, but he's so crazy strong he honestly doesn't need it.
At long last, the Ruler of the Skies is here to prove why he dominates above all the others:
CLASS: Barbarossa
The only thing that's worse about this class compared to Bow Knight is the lack of the Bowfaire ability. The class action alone makes this class better than any other IMO, even Dark Knight :P
WEAPON: The Inexhaustible
The best bow in the game, given to the best character. The healing provided by the Divine Glow attribute is important to help offset Impossible Feat recoil. Claude is very similar to Caspar in which they both suffer from heavy cases of ability slot syndrome, at least with their preferred master class. Therefore, they can't really afford to run healing abilities without sacrificing important offensive ones. Claude's minor Crest of Riegan has a 10% chance of retoring HP when landing combat arts, which helps even more to keep his HP topped off.
Failnaught and Fallen Star aren't bad by any means, it's just that there's no justifiable reason to take away Claude's ability to spam Wind God and Drill Arrow. Additionally, running Failnaught puts Claude's HP even more in jeopardy.
ACCESSORY: Rafail Gem or Aurora Shield
Rafail Gem also takes away Claude's weakness to bows, but the immunity to status effects is very handy. If you're running the Rafail Gem on someone else or don't have it unlocked yet, an Aurora Shield also works.
BATTALION: Resist Cavalry
Being weak to tomes is annoying, but since Claude is so freaking strong and his combat arts have good range, he can easily destroy mages with Drill Arrow or Wind God. If you're out of Resist Cavalry battalions, Resist Tomes is the next best option.
COMBAT ARTS: Drill Arrow & Wind God
Drill Arrow is effective against armored units, breaks enemies' guard AND lowers enemies' Def. It is VERY spammable thanks to The Inexhaustible. Despite its medium might, it one shots basically everything, meaning Claude can save a lot of weapon durability by not using too many Wind Gods. Drill Arrow can be learned naturally from Archer Lv 2.
I've already explained why Wind God is so busted. It is learned naturally from Barbarossa Lv 2.
Best class(es) to level up with: Barbarossa x120
Claude's unique class has very good growth rates for both Str and Spd. He has a very high innate growth rate for Dex too, which lets those 3 stats usually end up maxed or almost maxed after leveling. The ideal final stats are 110+ Str, max Dex, max Spd and 70+ Luck (for Luna).
ABILITIES:
  1. Bow Prowess Lv 3
  2. Wild Abandon (Brigand Lv 1)
  3. Leader's Ploy (Wyvern Master Lv 2)
  4. Boost Critical
  5. Offensive Tactics (Wyvern Rider Lv 1)
  6. Apex Bow
  7. Fiendish Blow (Warlock Lv 1)
  8. Luna (Great Knight Lv 2)
  9. Impossible Feat (Dark Bishop Lv 1)
  10. Seeker of Greatness (Barbarossa Lv 3) - Replace with Absorb Dexterity (Dark Bishop Lv 3) ONLY on the Gatekeeper paralogue. Most of the enemies on that mission have higher Dex than max Dex Claude, so Seeker of Greatness is redundant in that particular case.
And there it is ladies and gentlemen, the best character and build in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, at least in my opinion. The ONLY character that can contend with Claude is Felix, but as I mentioned in his post, his personal requires a TON of skill and practice to bring out Felix's full potential, whereas Claude is VERY easy to use. All you really need to do is spam three attacks: Drill Arrow, Wind God and his broken Barbarossa class action.
It is finally time to showcase the Ruler of the Skies, Claude von Riegan. These clips are all with +100 The Inexhaustible and the Gatekeeper paralogue clips are with Absorb Dexterity instead of Seeker of Greatness:
General gameplay, destroying final chapter enemies
Who did this guy get his Wyvern from??? Satan?
Making Lorenz on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like an absolute joke
Even Dedue on the Gatekeeper paralogue (highest Def enemy in the game) ain't got nothing on Claude
Making Ignatz and Hilda on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like absolute jokes
Making Dimitri on the Gatekeeper paralogue look like an absolute joke
Fastest time ever beating himself on the Gatekeeper paralogue
Fastest time ever beating Edelgard on the Gatekeeper paralogue without a sword or armor effective weapon
