I purchased a product called Nucore Performance LVP flooring. Advertised and marketed as 100% waterproof. There are several webpages on Floor & Decor's (the only authorized seller of this product) website that state the product is 100% waterproof, unaffected by moisture and humidity, can be used where spills happen. There is even a section about waterproof vinyl flooring being the golden choice for areas that may experience a flood! Its also marketed as lifetime warranty.
A few months after I had around 1800 sqft installed I began to have a LOT of issues with it. installed in a 2003 Florida home, concrete slab, manufacturer suggested underlayment was used. We replaced 20 year old cheap laminate flooring that had no real issues other than being 20 years old. My installer came back, saw the problems, stated it was a manufacturing defect and I should file a claim.
I've spend several months dealing with the claims process and I'm repeatedly being denied the claim because high moisture readings were found on the boards.
Its driving me crazy that they can market something as waterproof, but deny a claim based on moisture readings.
I've offered to even accept a store credit for the materials, and still they are not willing to come to a resolution.
The warranty states that moisture is not covered. But my argument is that the product is blatantly advertised as waterproof. It's like a bait and switch.
I've tried BBB, every review site i can think of. Do you all have any other advice?

I had 2 inspections performed. The first inspection noted only the moisture readings as grounds for denying the claim. I was given the option to hire a second inspection at my own cost (but could get reimbursed if manufacturer issues were found) so I did ($450). The second inspector was MUCH more thorough and noted high moisture readings throughout the installation, not just the area noted in the first inspection, and manufacturer issues regarding the suggested underlayment that was used. But the manufacturer will not respond to those statements and instead says, without detail, that it's not a manufacturer issue.
I could ramble on... there are a lot of details. I've been at this since November.
TLDR: Dont buy Nucore LVP flooring. How do you sue a company for false advertising.

Porte, which is not even a real bank, just a mobile financing app are the biggest fraudsters you can find when looking for a debit card. My debit card and account were entirely frozen with over $300 in the account. The money was then transferred from the account by Porte and the account shut down completely within 24 hours of the money being removed. Their reason: "because my account is suspected of fraudulent activity". I know I am stupid for putting my trust in an account like this...and wish I had read the prior reviews and horror stories first. On facebook, I have noticed several people being silenced with the same complaints. My only way of contacting Porte is now through their customer service line, who repeatedly tells me that my account is closed and they can not help me. I can't wait for the class action lawsuit against these dirty scumbags.

Test date is April 6. I’ve primarily been using Uworld. I’ve used 42% of the test bank and so far I’ve got 71% correct, which puts me in the 97th percentile. I see that 97th percentile and feel like I’m probably fine, but then I imagine opening the results and seeing that I’ve failed and how painful that moment would be, and I start to get panicky.
The first few weeks, I was just chipping away at 50-75 questions a day in tutor mode, writing out rationales for everything wrong/hard, and doing reviews for content areas I noticed I was consistently struggling with. Last week, I read somewhere (I forget where, it might have been here idk) that it’s better to build test stamina by turning off tutor mode and just going straight through questions, 4 sets of 40. I’ve done that this week and if I go through to write rationales, it takes pretty much all day and I end up crying at some point. Question fatigue is no joke. If I keep practicing at this rate I can finish the whole Qbank by test day but I just don’t know how realistic that is, I will definitely have some kind of breakdown. I think it’ll be better for my mental health to go back to the original arrangement, but I won’t finish the Qbank and I’m worried something I haven’t done will pop up and I’ll just screw everything up.
Has anyone failed with a Uworld percentile in the 90s?

Throwaway account for obvious reasons.
I am a dental student in Canada that is currently in over $300,000 debt (private line of credit for professional students) and about $100,000 debt in provincial/federal student loans. Recently there has been a tragedy in my family where I need to travel back to China and likely will plan to move there permanently.
My question is what will happen to these large loans given that I will not be making a significant income in China? I have no real assets that can be seized in Canada and I have no intention of coming back anytime soon. I plan to start a new life in China but am concerned that these debts will continue to chase me. The statute of limitations is 2 years in my province for Private loans. Is there only the option of defaulting on these loans and waiting out until the SOL is reached? How likely is it that the banks will attempt to get a ruling in China for judgement or will they end up writing it off as a loss?
I know that this is morally wrong but I'm so stressed about these loans and there is no option but to go back to China to take care of my family there. Thank you.

I'm gathering information and looking for advice, so please don't jump to conclusions about the website yet since I'm not!
I'm wondering if anyone has recent experience with their credit card info being swiped through a TCGplayer order before. Here's the timeline of what's happened:

• I created an account on TCGplayer on the afternoon of March 14 and made a purchase with my credit card.
• apparently someone made an account on a sports betting website the following day.
• the sports betting account closed out on the 23rd. This resulted in just under $3k in some sort of fees and losses being charged to my card.
• my bank locked my card the following day. I'm in the process of disputing the transactions.
• the sports betting website is looking into this on their end, but we've compared info and what they have on their file is the same as the info I gave TCGplayer.
• there's otherwise not any unusual activity on my card, and the only other out of the ordinary purchases I made that month were in person so nobody would've had my address.

I've left a ticket with TCGplayer and I'll see what they say, but any insight from folks who've been here before is welcome!

Is it much better kung sa bank mismo ako mag apply ng credit card?

Now, prewarning, i will include spoilers in this, and it won’t exactly be the most balanced of reviews, as i can’t think of too many negatives.
So to start off, i’ll start w a spoiler free part for this first. I adored how the mod had themes that echoed through from the first day till the end of the mod, and the characterisation of mc was great. I laughed so many times at this mod. The slow realisation of the situation at hand from mc was phenomenal, and the pacing was brilliant. but i couldn’t shake the feeling at any point during the mod that i was playing through a lens, whereas i didn’t have that problem with the og ddlc or most other mods. I think this could possibly from the fact we are in his head a lot, instead of dialogue. But overall, 9/10 mod absolutely brilliant.
i honestly covered most of what i wanted to in that first paragraph with no spoilers, so i’m only gonna cover the ending here with spoilers so SPOILER ALERT. the ending was phenomenal. i can’t lie to you, i cried. The idea of him giving up his entire existence just for the girls shows how much he does care about ALL of them. the custom art was brilliant and truly fit perfectly. the little epilogue after the credits too was really touching, and i’m glad we finished on a lie from mc to show him truly leaving. what. an. ending.

Newcomer to the area: got told to pay 80 dollars more for first payment as security deposit. Fine. Then I signed up for autopay. The first payment didn't go through for some reason (bank info error?) and got charged 10 bucks for "return item fee". It takes them over a week to process payment so the customer rep suggested I use my credit card (which costs extra). Fine. That went through, but my autopay was apparently still on with the old payment info, which got returned. Another 20 bucks for the return fee even though I already paid for everything. It will take them a couple of bill cycles to cancel that, so every month I am doubling my return fee. My actual gas bill is 10 bucks but return fee is 40 bucks...

So, I am currently double majoring in Finance and English, and my goal is to get into commercial banking. I have applied to a couple positions for bank teller and relationship banker positions but can't seem to get an interview. So, I am assuming it is because of my resume. What should I change?

I'm looking to get a second credit card, and am looking at my options as this will now become my new primary credit card.
I currently have a RBC Cash Back Mastercard, which I have held for a decade, which I will keep for Costco, and for back up purposes.
I am looking for either cash back, or Aeroplan, with a relatively low annual fee. Currently make just under $60,000 right now.
I'm looking between the Amex Cobalt and the Amex Aeroplan as my initial two options; which one would you all recommend, and is there any other cards I should consider. I currently bank at both CIBC and RBC, so cards from either of them can also be considered.
