I (26M) met this woman (23F) about 6 months ago while on vacation. We met, really hit it off, but it wasn’t a good time for us as she had just gotten divorced. Divorced from an abusive partner who she still struggles to get over.
I felt a really strong connection with her however, so after I left to my home 3 hours from hers I decided to just maintain light contact over Snapchat.
We start to have deep conversations and it starts to become apparent how good of a match we potentially are. She at this point has been out of state to escape her psycho ex, but makes plans to see me when she gets back.
She gets back, kind of ghosts me, then like 2 weeks after she had been back without following up on the plans she had made I text her to ask how she’s doing. She tells me that she is moving back out of state indefinitely, the next day. That sucked, but I knew that she was going thru a lot and she had to move for her own good, and trying to throw me in the mix would have complicated things so much more.
So now she lives out of state with her family, is in rehab, and has invited me to come visit her. This happened after I snapped her a picture of a small gash I got on my head from catching a stray stage dive kick in a mosh pit, and she replied “I wish I was there to kiss it and make it better” which I replied me too and asked her how she’s been doing. She says she’s doing better then sends a second message that just says “come visit me!!!” I respond saying ofc I’m just waiting on any excuse to come there. So I think about it for a second and check what artists are touring, turns out her absolute favorite band is playing in her city in June. I send a screenshot of this along with this message. She doesn’t open the message for 2 days but when she does she immediately buys the tickets, tells me to get my ass over there, and offers to split a hotel. She’s seems really excited about it and talks about all the other things we’re gonna do like go to the aquarium or what we’re gonna do at the hotel with heavy sexual emphasis. Last thing she said was along the lines of AHHHHH I’m so excited. I bought plane tickets for the show and sent her a screenshot of that with 😈 and it’s now been 4 days with no open, but she has posted a few stories since then.
It’s nothing new her communication has always been all over the place. She’ll come on really strong at times and then draw back by leaving me on delivered for days at a time. But when she’s communicative it’s always really great, she never doesn’t reciprocate/come on herself when we talk. Just avoids talking for days/weeks sometimes.
There is honestly a decent likelihood by June she changes her mind or really anything crazy in her life stops this from happening. But as of now and our last interaction I am flying out to visit her in June.
I’d like to visit with 0 expectations, but I am kind of chasing love here. She is taking a lot of effort to work on herself and get better. Do you really think it’s worth it to stick with someone who has all these red flags, but is potentially working on them? Can time really fix this or am I chasing after nothing?

I’m just feeling like it’s extremely difficult and unlikely to find a female partner with sexual interests that I will feel like match mine. I’ve been on fetlife and dabbled around with that and found a few women that were probably what I’d be looking for sexually but too much distance to realistically get to know anyone. Its really starting to get to the point I’m believing the odds of ever finding what I know I need to feel fulfilled is unlikely at best. I’m at a point in my life where I know what key things I’d feel like would be a good match but I’m just not finding it. Any suggestions on how to narrow the search? I’m probably a little kinkier than average.

I’m interested in buying a freehold property but my concern is that it is quite noisy in the garden because the garden is right next to a busy main road as well as the train track.
Inside the house is actually quiet so the concern is just with the garden.
When I went for the viewing, there wasn’t any train going past at that time so was unable to gauge the noise coming from the train. But the noise that comes from cars driving past is loud.
It currently has an average looking wooden fence up between the garden and the road which is clearly not much doing. I read online that there are some fences or wall materials that are designed to deflect the traffic noise.
So my question is has anyone tried to solve this problem in their garden by for example using special sound deflecting fence/wall?

My goodness it’s beautiful. Drove it 900 miles from Flint, Mi to Little Rock, Ak. Mostly just cruised at 70, but I defeated the rain and wind. Eco mode had me averaging 36mpg. As well as throwing it in sport mode every once in a while. I want one. I need one.

Whatever you did, comp is unplayable. 11 defeats in a row which seemed very suspicious to me. After tracking everyone and writing down exactly what level they were, I calculated the levels and now have confirmation that Bungie simply lied in their last blog post. I play a 1.6 Kd and have 5300 points.
My opponents had an average comp level of 9300. An average kd of 2.4. My team had an average comp level of 4600 and an average kd of 1.1. How exactly do they line up the teams? Why am I in such an extremely hard pool where I have no business?

Leadership from the parks, in partnership with Tulare County and Caltrans, hosted a public meeting last night at which the parks shared their current estimated time frames for reopening various areas to the public. Roads and facilities in the parks have been badly damaged by the recent major winter storms.

I know this procedure gets a ton of hate. This post isn’t about that. It’s for people who have successfully gotten it and had their buccal fat taken out in moderation. Were you about to articulate that you wanted a very small amount taken out just to be on the safe side? The average person has 4-4.5cc of buccal fat. Were you able to tell your surgeon you only wanted him to take out like 2cc? If so what was your experience? Did it make any difference in your looks?

If I buy a drink, I would like to drink it immediately instead of having to wait for it to cool down to a reasonable temperature. Same with hot chocolate.

Hi all, I started as a graduate tax accountant in early 2021 at a small family owned business. I started with $39k salary in 2 years I have learned quite a lot. I had a raise in early 2022 of $45k. I am currently undertaking CA. I want to know if I am being underpaid. Should I ask for a salary review or look somewhere else? I want to earn more money as I have a baby arriving in June 2023. I’m a bit on the tan side but I’m African American lol I’m not very tall, I’m only 5’6, so I’m a short king. But I’m pretty content this way lol I have long flowing dreadlocks that past my waist. I’ve had them for 10 years at this point. Thinking about cutting them off and starting over but I’m not sure yet lol I also wear glasses and I have a decent little bit of freckles sprinkled around my face. My voice is on the deeper side and I’m told that my laugh is pretty goofy but contagious. I’m the friend that tells funny jokes but also can barely get the joke out because I can’t stop laughing. I’m also the friend with the laugh that’s funnier than the joke lol
I’m a CanceINFJ-T if you're into that sort of thing. If I’m being honest,I’m introverted and can sometimes be a bit shy, but it’s hard to get me to shut up when I warm up to someone. I’ll nerd out and all lol I do suffer from anxiety but it’s a lot better than it used to be. If I were to describe some of my biggest traits,I’d say that I’m pretty caring and compassionate. I’m also really goofy and dorky. My Hogwarts House is Gryffindor. I’m definitely still trying to figure life out. If you’re nerdy and into video games and anime. Or if you’re a hopeless romantic. Over the past few months, I have been staying with my mum who is living rurally as she has cancer so I go to spend time with her and take her to chemo appointments. So for a lot of the time the apartments had been vacant. During November and December, my cousin would stay interminably to water my plants, as it was close to his uni and would help me with rent a small amount but to no profit and as I was coming home throughout this time it did not seem necessary to apply for a sublease. What's more, during this time my interminably tried to get onto me about the smoke alarm inspection. I explained the situation(minus that I was receiving rent help) and gave my cousin's number. He understood and sent the kindest regards. For the most part of this year, I have been home as i landed a new job (lost my previous much higher-paying role due to the aforementioned circumstances). As I would still be struggling with rent I considered subletting, a friend of mine from France who I met staying in a room in her apartment via Airbnb was looking to move out of her sharehouse temporarily while her boyfriend would be here from France. As I was with my mother again, I proposed she stay for 3 nights as that suited her (he arrived on the second night) to see how they liked it before potentially proposing a sublet application to the landlord. They did not pay, it was for mutual benefit. During their stay, my property manager happened to attend to my apartment which is located on top of a bar to check the accuracy of the water meter as my water bills have been ridiculously high (close to$600 every 3 months for one person who is often not there, for one period I was overseas for over a month) I had paid the first 2 but since then I have not as my water issues had not been tended to and they deliver the bills via post knowing that I don't have a mailbox, just a slot that drops onto a concrete floor with no coverage so if it has been even one day mail can be tarnished.
the Property manager did not let me know he was coming and to my knowledge, this was his first visit during my tendency of over 2 years (where I have not had one inspection). On this day he happened to run into my friend's boyfriend who said he was staying at an Airbnb, I'm not sure if this is because he thought it was understood and or just confused. The Property manager did try and get in for an explanation but during this time had my phone set to only accepting calls of my contact favourites, as there have been additional high stressors such as my sister being admitted to the psych ward, and she has 2 daughters. She and my mother are estranged especially at the moment as my mum is not supposed to be exposed to stress, so I had to arrange for my aunty and uncle to look after my nieces which I would normally do but I had a trip booked for my mum and grandparents and I.
So, when I return home a few days ago I get the notice to vacate and by then already had only a few days left, due to stress I had a sleeping pill I was prescribed but never taken and slept for almost 3 days. So, the grounds of the notice are just that interaction and also stating that there is no evidence. He also stated if I wish to discuss the matter to call him, this seems odd to me?
What's more, he is claiming that I have been running an airbnb enterprise for what would be most of my tenancy, which explains the high water usage as the meter reading was correct. I'm sure it was correct as a week prior, the owner of the bar downstairs told me somewhere from my apartment was leaking internally so much that her ceiling was swelling with water, turned out to be my toilet which has now been fixed. The bar owner explained to me was an issue before time that was fixed but obviously not. I also reported a leaking tap in my condition report, and was again outlined in an email about 6 months ago explaining also that my water pressure had been plying up and wondered if maybe it was due to one of 2 instances where strangers appeared at my open door to let me know they either needed to gain access or that my water would be turned off temporarily for repairs, the first instance was the owner of the building next door with a tradesperson attending to a roof leak and the other was from downstairs to fix something. Since then my temperature control and pressure have been awful. The email was never replied to. The notice date was 2 days after my rent due date, which is now a few days ago, it's my understanding that if I pay some rent now (i did receive an automated reminder text last night) requesting an extension of a week or so (which the amount would reflect) they cannot force me from the property? If that is, they don't see any legitimacy have compassion and still request I leave.
