I was requested to submit original transcript for my PGWP. My reputable RCIC submitted it on my behalf through the authorized rep portal, and it says 'Replacement Provided' in green font, along with 'Uploaded' and the name of the file.
My application was refused a week later saying they never received the documents, when it was in indeed submitted on time. I called IRCC and they said there is no documentation for that specific document, but it was indeed submitted on our side to IRCC.
We have submitted a reconsideration request with all of the proof we needed. Do u think we did something wrong? Maybe it was a technical error?

hi reddit. sorry this is a long post, but i hope this context can provide a lot of information to see what others think about my situation. the tl;dr is at the bottom. :)
my (now ex)boyfriend and i have been together for a year, have known each other and have been romantically involved for two. we made things official in april of last year, after he got back from deployment. since then we have certainly had ups and downs. but overtime, we admitted that we wanted this to be long-term. we have had talks of living together and me moving with him after he gets stationed somewhere else in 3 years, so i really thought it was meant to be.
i have always felt slightly insecure about him following so many girls from his high school, but didn’t let it get to me. but then one night i got suspicious and, did violate his privacy and went on his phone. i do want to admit that i know it was wrong and i’m not excusing this type of behavior. i’m so torn, as i would’ve never found out he was doing what he was doing if i never went on his phone.
last month i found out he was texting a girl that in december of 2021 when we were talking but not yet official, he told her he loved her after she confessed her love for him. they had only known each other for 2 months at that point and had sex. he told her it was not the right time nor place for them to be together. fast forward to april 2023, i find out that he never told her that they couldn’t be together, and basically led her on. i gave him the benefit of the doubt and forgave him, since it was when we were not official. then, i asked if he had seen or talked to any other girl romantically while we have been talking and/or together and he said no. that was a big damn lie.
fast forward to this past saturday, i get suspicious as to if he was texting her still. i check his messages on snapchat and go into the search and see this girl who doesn’t appear on his messages. he has her notifications muted and has been clearing conversations so i couldn’t see who he was texting. last year in may, a month after we are officially together, he took a trip to california to see his family. turns out he met up with this girl from high school, commented on her snaps calling her cute and sexy. he made out with her. he received nudes from her. never told her he had a girlfriend. he continued to flirt with her even after he got back from california, and still talked to her till this day.
i was so distraught. someone who said they love me and want a future with me capable of doing the absolute worst thing to me. just recently, him and i went to california so that i could go with him to his step mothers funeral. i helped create a go fund me for the funeral expenses, i was with him in his hardest time. i let him into my life, my family loves him and did so much for him. i just can’t believe he would do this after all the love and support i’ve given him and my loved ones have given him.
just like the first girl, he justified it by saying he no longer had feelings for them, but considered them “friends”. he says that because he cheated at the very beginning of our relationship, that he regrets it but is not the same person he was before.
i made him text this girl, because the first girl he just blocked. i didn’t feel that was right, and wanted him to give this second girl an explanation. he said to her that it was a mistake being with her last year because at the time he made someone his girlfriend; and out of respect for the both of us, he needs to stop talking to her. i made him block her from everything, thinking it would make me feel better and i could move on, but i couldn’t.
the next morning i found out even worse information that made me even more uncertain if i could move on. i asked if he had nude photos saved anywhere of this girl or anyone else. he ended up admitting he still had nude photos of his ex girlfriend, but never looks at them. i honestly can’t believe a word coming out of his mouth. i told him i needed some time to be alone and think so he went in the shower.
when we talked, i initially told him i wanted a “break”. i didn’t want to breakup, just spend time apart since he practically lives at my dorm. i also told him for us to work, he needed to confide in his family or a therapist. we agreed; but later in the day i realized i’d be disrespecting myself not to end things and break up with him. i called him and told him we needed to break up so he can understand the consequences and how it feels to lose me. i told him i loved him still, and look forward to him maturing and seeking help.
i needed to return all his stuff back to his barracks, so i called him shortly after to confirm a date that i could bring his stuff back. it was the same stuff he said initially, he was crying, saying how sorry he was, saying he made a mistake. that i’m much more mature than him and he needs to grow up, and wants to be in a committed relationship and wants to be loyal.
he said he has never done anything like this before, he couldn’t even admit that he was a cheater at first. i noticed after he talked to his father, who had his marriage with my boyfriends biological mom ruined because of infidelity, was able to hold himself more accountable. he told me he wanted to change, be a better man, and wants to truly be with me and sees a future with me.
today i returned all his stuff to his barracks. i told him no matter what happens and if we get back together or not, that he needs to understand this growth is for him to be a better person, not to win me back. he said he understood, and told me he would be getting professional help. he told me he loved me, but i didn’t say anything back, other than i believe in him and know he’ll become a better person.
i’m just so uncertain right now. all i can think about is waiting for him, longing for the day he comes back to me a better man. but deep down i’m scared. i don’t deserve to be put through this and deserve so much more. and i can’t even be 100% sure he’s gonna come back truthful and respect me.
i know ultimately it is my decision, but i just need advice. does a cheater ever understand their actions and will they ever get better? can i ever go back to him the same?

I'm looking to check if my former employer has acted completely legally in their actions and would be grateful for any input.
Whilst I worked for my prior employer, before I was served redundancy, I booked an employee discounted holiday for approx. £3000. This is about 50% what a normal customer would have paid for the equivalent holiday. I had paid the balance in full and was due to travel this September. I had booked travel insurance and also some activities at the destinations.
As part of my redundancy package, I have it in writing that any employee discounted holidays booked before the redundancy consultation period would be honoured in full.
However, a couple of weeks ago I got an email saying that due to trading conditions and "wanting to provide our guests the best possible experience*, they have cancelled my booking. The email refers to the terms and conditions of the discount scheme, which does say that the employee discounted holiday scheme "is not contractual, and the company reserves the right to withdraw the benefit at any time".
The company has since refunded the money I had paid back in full. Im going to see if travel insurance can give me anything for the extra things I booked separately at destinations.
My question is, as I had it honored in my redundancy package in writing, does that "catch all" clause really take precident over the other in-writing guarantees I had? Especially as I had paid in full. Surely the fact I had paid in full in itself is a contract of some sort? I understand they can withdraw the benefit at any time, but surely not after I've paid?

I offer clients a subscription service. There is initial work needed for implementation, and then regular monthly maintenance work.
I’d like to project manage out of SF to keep all important customer account data in the same place.
My thought is to create a custom object with statuses (new, onboarding, onboarding complete, project in progress, project live, cancelled, etc),
Ideally I would love to be able to create a client portal in experience cloud where the client would have visibility into the different stages of their projects.
I would also like for my team to be able to add notes to the object monthly as the work is completed so I can review over time, as well as reference back fo what was completed that month.
Am I on the right track? From a high level this would also provide fantastic visibility into all active projects at a time from a kanban view.

When you reach 6th level, you have gained an increased understanding of your curses, allowing you to manipulate them with ease. The Bestow Curse spell now has a range of 30 ft and you are able to cast it at its base level without expending a spell slot once per long rest.

Masterful Hexing
At 10th level, you have mastered the art of weaving curses and hexes with unparalleled expertise. So I've been thinking about power generation as of late.
Part of me is a big advocate of the hacker ethic and the idea of undermining systems for your own advantage. I think that's quite cool.
But then I also recognize that in a truly anarchist system, where all MOP are held in common, undermining the commons amounts to stealing from your neighbors and comrades rather than some rich asshole.However, I do enjoy the challenge.
So, I've specifically been imagining the following scenario:Imagine a power generation facility. The most efficient and fairest way possible to distribute resources would be as follows:
If you use x% of the power you pay x% of the bill (i.e. if you use 10% of generated power,you're in charge of covering 10% of the costs of that power, so labor, resources, etc. For communists out there it needn't be measured in money or anything, it just means that of the inputs put in you are in charge of covering 10% of them).
The other way to do this would be if you charge an equal amount to everyone. I.e. if there are 100 people using this power plant and the power plant takes1000 labor hours to run then everyone must contribute 1000/100 = 10labor hours worth of labor for access to the power plant. (So if it takes say 1000 labor hours to maintain a solar farm through cleaning or basic repairs or whatever, you're responsible for providing 10 of them).
Now the downside of this is that those who use more power are charged less and those who use less are charged more. The benefit is that there isn't as strong an incentive to undermine the system because everyone contributes the same amount (of course there could still be a free rider problem,i.e. you contribute nothing but still take out power, but that's true for any commonly held resource). So the first system seems more fair but the downside is that it incentives those who use more power to figure out a way to externalize the costs they must pay onto others. In essence the incentive structure of the first system for those who use a lot of power is to try and get it to look like the second and the reverse is true in the second system.

I’m (28, single) an accountant by profession. My past 2 employers were very reputable corps that provide good benefits to their employees. I lasted 4 years in my first company then bc of burned out and lack of opportunities, i resigned. Weekend lang pahinga ko before i started sa second job.

Anyway, after I resigned nagpahinga ako ng isang taon and not long enough, i had my third job at probi ako ngayon sa isang kilalalng corpo din. Smaller pay compared the two pero gusto ko na kasi magtrabaho kaya i grabbed it.
Hindi sya gaanong stressful. Sobrang bihira lang din ang overtime hindi tulad ng dati na kulang na lang mag double shift ako halos araw-araw. Intended Use

Whenever you’re buying ammo for any gun, whether it’s a 357 magnum handgun, 300 Blackout carbine, or 12 gauge shotgun, you should always consider how or why you’ll be using it, as some ammo is better suited for the range over self-defense.

Background so I don't get random advice that won't ever apply to me: Rising junior, mediocre grades, As and Bs but Bs in my particially harder classes such as precalc and ap physics. Literally little to nothing for extracurriculars aside from some lanky clubs with no leadership in them just participation such as [redacted so i dont get banned], Student Gov, and Media position in a club. Low income enough to qualify for benefits but not poor enough for colleges apparently so low middle income.
I am dead set on aimming for top schools, nothing like Harvard, that's impossible with my stats, but something close to like UC Berkeley or UCLA. However lately I have had the rush of paralyzing fear over my current stats and it absolutely does not help with the fact that I'm the only person in my entire family to have started high school, so I'm like incredibly first gen. My high school counselors keep on getting changed and I'm never able to actually pursue a bond with them (I've had my counselors changed 3 times and I might be getting changed again because I'm taking Full IB) They are helpful for local scholarships and normal school life stuff but beyond that they have no idea what they are talking about and I believe that they are undermining the true warzones of college admissions.
I've researched a lot of things since I'm pretty much self dependent on myself now but there's also the looming fear that not even I'm prepared (I've only researched into things I should be doing for Junior year but then again none of the thngs I researched will be actively providing me a cushion for my profile)
