I’ve noticed people asking about Arma Inscriptas in the Megathread, and tbh I was curious myself. I don’t think there’s an EN resource on AIs so I decided to try and create one myself.
I sourced the AIs from Neural Cloud’s official posts on Weibo (Chinese Twitter), ran them through OCR and translation, and—with my own limited knowledge of Chinese—fixed up some of the translations to be consistent with the existing official EN translations in-game.
A couple of points:

• The official descriptions describe simple, not detailed versions, of skills. As such a lot of content will seem ambiguous. I have done my best to clarify certain translations, but I have purposely chosen not to elaborate with my interpretation of the translations.
• If you find something that seems ambiguous, assume that is ambiguous as intended. If you find something that is specific and sounds too good to be true, however, please let me know and I will double check the translation.
• I do not play the CN version of the game. So assume any replies I make to be speculation and not fact. I gladly welcome any CN players to come chime in on details.
• I do not know what is going on with Antonina’s AI2 either
• This is a huge post and I’m on my phone so I can’t guarantee it will look ok format-wise. But I will be making updates to the post if I find any issues.

Boosts the tether's effectiveness, increasing the Healing Effect of Recovery Substitution and deals continuous Operand Damage to enemies in contact with the primary tether.

[Arma Inscripta Effect] The Fossil Dragon inherits more of Fern’s attributes, and when the duration of Solnhofen’s Hunt ends, refreshes the attributes of the Fossil Dragon.

Summons a Fossil Dragon Guard after a brief period. When the Fossil Dragon falls in battle, it will be re-summoned after a few seconds.

Deals some Physical Damage to all enemies near her target and Stuns them. This effect enters cooldown after triggering.
[Arma Inscripta Effect] Centaureissi’s Normal Attacks on enemies affected by “Tremor” will speed up the skill recharge of her passive skill. “Tremor” will decrease the debuff RES of the affected enemy; this effect cannot be stacked.

It’s been 2 weeks and it still hurts. He even stopped drinking completely too before we broke up after talking about it for over a year. But the damage was done by then. Drinking liquor from the moment you wake up till you go to sleep for the entirety of a relationship will do that. At least he was always truthful about how much he drank.
One of the last things I said to him was that I didn’t want to have anything to do with him. I hung up the phone and told him I hated him right then and didn’t recognize him anymore over text. We haven’t talked since. Even when he came to pick up his stuff from my house. I think after living close to a decade being constantly drunk he is in no position to be able to emotionally or physically care or love anyone until he starts healing himself in both of those ways too.
I keep crying at weird times and can’t bring myself to drive around his part of town. It hurts so much because I know there’s no going back. It hurts so much that I can’t even talk to him as a friend. Texts just get sent into the abyss (it’s been a week since I texted him… I won’t again and know I just look desperate and toxic for doing it in the first place.
I have a lot of things going for me- life-changing opportunities have sprung up so abundantly within the past 2 weeks even. Opportunities he didn’t encourage me to go after, and were the reason we broke up. So why does my heart ache so desperately for a love that was so incompatible? Why am I still in love with his potential? When does it get easier to give up on wanting things to be different? To stop holding my breath for his name to light up on my phone again?

I want a model of my house in SketchUp or Fusion360. That way I can play around with different designs, or furniture, or colors, or additions, or landscaping or whatever. Everyday no matter what i do, read, watch tv, play video games. You do nothing but bark at my house about your stupid relationships.

Got a bike that someone was making into a chopper (not a fan), but the price was right and I always look for a new project. I'm having difficulties getting this bike running right.
As of right now it idles with zero issues, even without the choke on. With choke on it increases rpm when idling. But if I touch the throttle even slightly it will kill the bike. If I have the choke on and hit the throttle it will Rev up shortly then die directly after.
I have cleaned the carbs multiple times, using guitar strings, carb cleaner, compressed air, all of it. The jets seem to be perfectly clear, I've checked the main jets multiple times, but cannot remove pilot jets as they are pressed in. I have rebuilt the carbs with new aifuel mixture screws (set to 2.5 turns out) new fuel needle valves, and new seals in the accelerator pump.
The air box was missing when I got the bike, along with the muffler. There are pod filters on the carbs now which seemed to help with the idling when put on. I know these bikes are finicky about having the stock intake/exhaust setup (or so I've read online).
All the headers get hot when running, and the bike seems to run strong when at an idle. I'm looking for any and all ideas that I can try and get this thing running right. Thanks in advance.

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most profitable entertainment franchises in the history of games. It came along as a return to form after what many fans would argue was a misstep with the more gritty and realistic GTA 4. Originally released back in 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3—yes, it spans three console generations—developer Rockstar has supported the game's online mode with continual updates adding new content, new areas, and even all-new mechanics.
GTA V was such a runaway success—and GTA The Trilogy: Definitive Edition was such a dumpster fire—that Rockstar gave up working on a Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC, and has now reportedly abandoned plans to remaster more of its beloved older titles to instead focus on both further GTA Online content as well as the development of GTA 6.

Naturally, expectations for GTA 6 are incredibly high, and given the advanced age of GTA V, fans are chomping at the bit for any bit of news. That's why there's so much buzz around a report at Bloomberg that focuses on Rockstar's new corporate culture. Company co-founder Dan Houser left Rockstar in 2020, and ever since then the development house has been trying to reshape a corporate culture that the report refers to as being "like a frat house".
Given the nature and tone of the humor in the Grand Theft Auto series, it's really not surprising to hear that the atmosphere inside Rockstar was juvenile and chauvinistic. The report remarks that the workplace culture at Rockstar was "full of drinking, brawling, and excursions to strip clubs." That may sound like a good time to some, but it's admittedly not very professional.

As part of the report, author Jason Schreier casually reveals that GTA 6 will have at least two playable protagonists, and that one of them will be a Latina woman. This technically isn't the first playable woman nor even the first playable Hispanic woman in the GTA series; the very first GTA game featured a Latina named "Katie" as one of its eight playable characters.
Still, very few of the series' modern fans even remember the old DOS-based Grand Theft Auto, so we can forgive everyone for forgetting about poor Katie. Regardless, the new girl will apparently be part of a Bonnie-and-Clyde-like crime duo, calling to mind the partnership between Claude and Catalina in the beginning of Grand Theft Auto III. Hopefully the partnership between the new player characters in GTA 6 doesn't end the same way that one did.

Mandatory stuff: Location - UK; Sex - Male; Age - 19, 20 in a month; height - 173cm; weight - about 76Kg; race - white/berber arab; drink/smoke/substances - none
Primary complaint: Pain and discomfort in malunion healed distal radius fracture (left arm), just under 5 years post surgery, noticeably worsened symptoms since mid 2022 (i.e. stiffness etc).
Detail/explanation: Hello, at age 15 (July 2018) I fractured my left wrist (distal radius fracture) in a cycling accident and had it immediately treated with surgery the next day (they inserted a pin to keep it aligned. The bend in my arm was very obvious (about 10-15 deg, I can't recall exactly, and it healed at about 5-6 deg maybe?). The bone unfortunately healed with a malunion, I had a check-up 1 month after having my cast removed to check the range of motion in the arm which they deemed fine as far as I can remember.
I am now 19, approaching 20, and since early 2022 the pain/discomfort in my left arm has been gradually worsening, in the years after the surgery I remember I was always cautious with my arm, I don't think I ever received adequate/proper advice from anyone regarding the injury so it was something I essentially forgot until about 2 years ago. Given the inadequacy of follow ups to the injury with doctors and the such, I'd like to know what the best course of action is right now:
- I experience constant discomfort in my forearm it's hard to describe but it feels stiff and I need to move it all the time to relieve the discomfort - When articulating my fingers, about 70% of the time there is a discomfort in my forearm, it feels as if there is something moving pushing against my skin from within is the best way I can describe it. - In late November last year, I went to the GP as in the 4 days preceding, my hand/wrist was extremely weak and numb, I'd wake up with no sensation in my arm which gradually worsened until it gradually "went away" by itself, to this day I occasionally experience weakness in my arm and I'm not sure what to attribute it to
Overall, this problem is really affecting my life, as soon as I want to commit to physical activity such as weight lifting, my left arm always gets in the way, even simply clenching/unclenching my fists repeatedly for just a minute causes my arm to go stiff, whereas I can do the same in my right arm for far, far longer with no discomfort. When I consulted the GP, I brought up the possibility of a nerve issue which they dismissed, I was told I was "worrying too much", and that my arm wouldn't feel the same as before the surgery, even though I told them before 2022, I'd never experienced losses of sensation in my arm etc. Right now I really don't know how to proceed, any advice is welcome, sorry if this post seems all over the place, I'm pretty lost.

Hello all!
I am a novice PC hobbyist, and I am having micro stuttering issues on a build that's approximately two years old. These issues are intermittent but noticeable when watching video on any application AND WHILE performing any other task on the PC (i.e. opening a new application, surfing the web on another browser, scrolling through an excel document even, when a video ad pops up in another browser, whatever).
This *feels* like a processor issue, but you guys are the experts. Its only when watching any video and performing any other action in Windows(again intermittently this happens - say 5% of the time).... Only video playback seems to be affected - for instance, when I have WoW or a game open and multitask doing anything else, graphics in games seem fine. I can't pin-down when this started happening unfortunately, but I've been noticing it for the past 6-8 months I'd say. It is not limited to YouTube and Chrome, same thing happens when watching video through any 3rd party app or using Edge.
In the linked clip, I was scrolling an excel spreadsheet on my other monitor and you can hear it while watching a YouTube video when he says "30 years", it almost sounds like a split second of static (please turn up volume to hear). - Enabled XMP in BIOS

Hello All! I have been working for some time on a small collection of short stories/vignettes to turn into a graphic novel about my cat and I at the edge of the end of the world! My goal is to tell a story about accepting changes and growth. I would really love some feedback on some of the little stories. This is my first one I am sharing! I haven't written in years so I have been a little scared to share, but I feel a strong urge to share this story and would really like to improve/get it to a place where I'm not scared to share it out. Let me know what you think :)

We creaked open the old, heavy door to reveal what appeared to be a home frozen in time. But instead of frost, it was dust that held each piece of furniture in place since what appears to be the 1990s. Underneath each layer of dust, there was a shiny cherry wood grain. Cozied on top, doilies and cold candle holders. The air, already heavy from the sprinkles of kicked up dust, was weighed down even more by the scent of amethyst, rose, mezcal and mothballs. The heaviness of the air was fitting for the scene. Here lays a life that once was light and vibrant, now long gone. Something her and I now have come to face too many times in this life. I carefully raised my eyes to see her face. I was terrified for our eyes to meet. Her round, green eyes had a darkness to them. She appeared to be away, somewhere else—perhaps in this very room at a different time.
“Just how I remembered,” she whispered in awe. Her little white paws pinched closer together just before she lied down, with all her feet tucked in. Her eyes still appearing to be somewhere else.
“Happy memories?” I felt the words well up in my throat.
“Oh yes. But, in some ways—very sad. It makes me remember when…” she paused. I knew this was coming. This was a grave mistake. Not good ever comes from digging up the past, happy or sad. The happy memories only remind you of what comes at the end. “When it all changed.”
“I understand.” I sat next to her, kicking dust in the air. I pet her head. “I’m sorry, Rose. I hope this brings you peace.” I say, assuming she is stronger than me.
“It does. It brings me closer to her.”
Silence. Rose reminisces and I meditate on her point. We have no connection to our past lives now—but more than ever I find myself wanting to live in that fantasy world. A world before everything changed. Before I left the only home I ever knew, and before the war. I wonder if Rose feels the same way with her first home. Before she lost the only person she knew to love and trust and had to grow up and find a new home to make her own. And although she is the only one I have, I wish I could give her this world back. Or at least be able to hide her from what her world has become. Maybe bringing her back here does.
This old ranch house, once warmed and decorated by eager newly-weds, worn down by 3 children, slowly became softer and quieter when the children moved out and the husband passed away, leaving Beth and later Rose as its only habitants. As a kitten, Rose found peace with Beth. There were few visitors and plenty of space to race from one room to the next. As Jazz music played, Beth would water her plants and talk to Rose about the importance of allowing something to grow. Rose learned to love Jazz and the rest of her life, let the plants around her grow without her interference.
After Beth passed and I adopted Rose, these lessons came in handy when I would accidentally purchase a Peace Lily or Alocasia—both poisonous to cats—or when I needed to relax her on a tough car ride by playing some light jazz. Throughout the years I had Rose, she would let me into this past life little by little. I always avoided the subject with her as to not pry. But here, it felt unavoidable.
I take a deep breath.
“Thank you, Beth,” I exhale.
Rose let out a soft, slow stream of tears from her eyes as she began to smile.
“Yes, thank you. I love you dearly, Beth.” Rose stands, tilts her head up as if to acknowledge Beth above in the heavens. “And thank you for allowing me to feel her here once more. It feels like a piece of me has been renewed.”
I nodded. I could not say anymore. This is her moment, and I wanted to leave it on her own terms. No questions, no pushing her towards light-hearted conversations, no heavy hitting words of wisdom…this is for her.
“I want to stay just a little longer if that’s okay.” I nodded again. She nuzzled me as she walked towards the bedroom.
“Just as it was left. Nothing changed, just some dust!” I hear her shout from the other room. “Isn’t that something?”
It is.

Rose presses her right paw into the carpet as she stretches are front legs. Despite being hardened by the years of neglect, dust, and water damage, still feels like it once did. She allows her mind to trick her. She runs under the bed and armoire, hiding from imaginary mice. Beth comes in from the kitchen and lays a throw on the bed. This is where Rose is allowed to lay, so not to ruin the comforter. She finds her spot and snuggles in between her two feet.
“Such a sweet girl, Rosalia. Paying your dues by keeping my feet warm,” Beth’s voice echoes into the room so faintly. The opaque memories becoming more chopped and faded over time feel so clear now.
Suddenly a bright jazz piano plays in the kitchen. Beth is awake and putting a kettle over the stove.
Spring is here, and Beth sits on the front porch while Rose rests her head in the afternoon sun spilling through the window.
Dusk appears and Beth has given in and retired back to the living room for more tea and light reading. The birds retire as well and the night becomes ever so quiet.
The day repeats, over and over, until one day it doesn’t.
One day Beth does not wake up and play Jazz. Many people come and then, everyone is gone. Someone visits once every few days to check on Rose before she is taken away from the home. Rose has returned, but Beth has not.
All these memories play at the same time. Her mind assigns no order or priority over these memories. Once they have played a few times, she pulls herself back to the old, dusty bedroom. Her new caretaker is waiting for her.

I peel back the curtains. Outside the sunset stains everything it touches an orangey-red, meaning good weather ahead. A sense of peace calms my nerves and I feel a nuzzle against my ankle.
“I think I am ready now,” Rose says.
“You sure? We can always come back you know.”
“No, I don’t think so. But I feel so lucky to have been her once more.”
I follow Rose out. My shoulders rolled down with a sprinkle of shame.
“Thank you, Kara. I love you dearly.”
I pick her up onto my shoulder. Rose watches the house shrink behind us, and I watch the sun set on the last day I saw her as my little kitten.

So a reservation opened up with Shion during my visit in less then 2 weeks. Based on reviews both are excellent, Shion seems to have the advantage in traditional technique and overall quality of sushi but some find it the presentation to be slow and boring. Noz seems to be more exciting and better presentation but quality of technique and fish a tad behind Shion. What does everyone think between the two?

One of my friends, we'll call them C, tends to obsess over fictional characters. At one point, it was to the extent that they were basically claiming that they were that character. Now, it's just to the point that they'll change their preferred name to that of the name of the character they're obsessing over, or a shortened version of the name. It also appears that they change their pronouns based on the gender of the character they're obsessed with, but that's beside the point. The character they're obsessed with currently is the Collector from TOH. He's their favorite character from the show, whatever, not a problem. He's like one of the BBEG's of the show, and has imprisoned and/or taken away bodily autonomy from all the characters of that world. Ok, whatever, I get liking the antagonist, no problem with that. I'd watched the majority of the show with them, but I've not seen the latest episode. My partner also watches the show and let slip that my favorite character may die, possibly as a result of the Collector. I said a character who causes harm/death to characters who were just trying to live their lives doesn't really deserve a redemption arc, and that I can't see anyone in the show actually forgiving him after all that he'd done. C went on about how he's a child and doesn't know what he's doing or whatever. The conversation kinda fizzled out after a bit and we moved on to some other conversation. Later that night, C brought up how upset they were that I was saying that the Collector wouldn't deserve a redemption arc because he's their favorite character. I explained that I just don't like characters who can get away with anything and be immediately forgiven just like that, and also that I just don't like whiny kids, which the Collector acts like. I also said I don't hate the character, in an attempt to not have to continue the conversation. They then asked me my top 5 favorite characters. I listed my top 3 (believe it or not, the Collector wasn't in there) and said that I couldn't really rank any after that. This all happened a few weeks back and it's been really bugging me, so I did some searching to see if maybe my comment about him not deserving a redemption arc was too far. I don't wanna spoil anything, but basically what I found out just tells me that he's a worse person than I thought, and C's excuse that he's "just a child and doesn't know what he's doing" isn't actually correct. I can get behind liking a BBEG, I can even get behind wanting a redemption arc for a seemingly irredeemable BBEG. I know this is a silly vent, but I hate being told that I can't dislike a character that is written to be a BBEG and causes harm/death to characters I do like.

The first thing you notice when you step into the house is the smell. Not the scented gas smell that comes from the vents, but an overwhelming stench.
When you walk out of the front door, into the kitchen, you are greeted with a thick brown haze.
You are surrounded by a dark and thick smoke.
The stench gets thicker and thicker.
As you stare at the kitchen table, and the chair, and the sofa, and the TV, and the fireplace, and the walls, and the ceiling… you begin to wonder if you are going crazy. Then, out of the smoke, and the haze, and the smoke… something moves.
You have to move.
And you do.
As you move your way down the hall, and the stairs, and eventually, the basement, and finally down the front stairs, you are blinded by the bright white light that is coming from the kitchen.
And you are able to make out the figure of a woman.
She is covered in mud. And she is in the middle of cleaning something on the stove. And she is watching you as you move.
She washes her hands under the tap.
You are now standing in the kitchen.
Your eyes are closed.
And she is watching.
You can see the smile on her face.
You can see the tears.
And you can hear the footsteps.
And you can smell the stink.
You can't breath.
You can't stand up.
She is watching you.
You need to get away.
So you run to the stairs.
And you can hear her laughing as you run to the stairs.

You can feel her footsteps as you run to the stairs.
And she is laughing as you run to the stairs.

Hey everyone! I decided to write this post based on seeing all the messages in A2C, which have become…. Oh boy. Yikes. Yeahhh, seems this year has been crazy.
Amongst all the saddening rejection posts and hopeful acceptances, I’ve noticed one type that’s appeared often; the “Idfk how I got rejected” post, AKA the “I did everything, what happened?” In these posts, I’ve seen so many students get rejected from schools they thought they’d get into despite having a bajillion awards and stats that have given me MASSIVE impostor syndrome. That makes their rejection all the more sus, right?
Yet amongst all these posts is one factor in common: no mention of the essay. Now you may be going “well duh you silly random redditor of course they wouldn’t share those whole things.” Which I agree, it’d be crazy to share all those essays. But with that comes a suggestion to my major question: maybe among all the stats and crazy accolades, the 40 research papers and 300 APs, the essays have really been scrutinized this year to help these colleges take some weight off themselves.
Now to explain myself, It’s story time! As a junior, I attended an incredible summer program and have now had the opportunity to help a number of current applicants by reviewing their essays. And from that experience, while I’m no AO, I found it surprisingly easy to realize when the essays I was reading were actually amazing.
Now, for context, many of the essays I looked at were good. There were a few where I quickly recognized a red flag and went “oh boy,” then politely asked the writer to fix the error. But a majority were well written essays that did a good job accomplishing their goal: highlighting the applicant’s accolades while showing why they were a good fit.
And then there were THOSE essays, the ones that had a certain something to them that made them feel honest. Whether that was humor that felt genuine, or a story well told that gave an honest window into the applicant, there were a few people’s essays that quite quickly stood out.
Now, I bring this up as to suggest an answer to the questions of my fellow applicants questions on “why didn’t I get in? What else could I have done?” For an actual AO, finding the essays that really stood out may have been easier, both to find and to justify as a reason to select 1 person out of a group of 20 highly similar applicants with 1500+ scores and tons of awards.
So my conclusion? To those seeing these posts as future applicants and panicking, deep breath. What you’re doing now is enough, but if you want to find something to “fix” (EMPHASIS ON THE QUOTATION MARKS BECAUSE YOU’RE AMAZING ALREADY), consider your essays when you write. Share them with those you trust know you best, to ensure the genuine, honest self comes through. Trust me, you will not regret it. If you love XYZ school that you’re applying too, put in the effort, DONT PROCRASTINATE, and above all, show how genuine your interest is.

So I recently picked up a U6 LR and I’ve been happy with the coverage as I had a u6 lite before and in our townhome of 2story 1300sqft it couldn’t cover all from the top floor. The only thing I’m pretty disappointed in is the overall speeds I’m getting, particularly when I’m right next to the AP at my desk.
The first speed test is from the Xfinity gateway with standard settings nothing changed. Second test is the U6 LR on channel 161 which has no one else on it and 80mhz width. There are other networks due to Location but only on the lower bands. Even still why is the Xfinity gateway providing better consistent speeds?
On my wired desktop I can pull 800mbs on average with our 1200mbs plan. Any input? Using a UDMP. Connected to the gateway and a switch lite Poe powering the U6LR.
